Okay, here it goes or not.  My boyfriend wants to have anal sex and I have never done this.  I need to no if there is any way I should prepare myself for this.  I want to do this but I am a little scared.  Any help????

Don't use bengay. I find that hot oils work, also known as motion lotions work best. Forget vaseline. I have never used astroglide by I heard it's good but I still prefer the flavored hot oils as lube.

I have been exploring "anal play" (haven't done the actual "deed" yet), but what works for me is to go REALLY slow, and have a partner you trust. I also do not enjoy the "motion lotions" myself - you know, the ones that warm up? It really burned when applied there!!

Start with a finger, then maybe another one, maybe a small toy...and go from there. :)

Enemas are helpful, for obvious reasons (warm water ones are best).

The link I have included provides a really good answer to your question.  The one thing I would add that I never see written about is breathing.  If you are nervous, your natural inclination will be to stop breathing while your boyfriend is trying to enter you.  Take long slow breaths through your mouth and not your nose.  For some reason, it is almost impossible for you to contract your sphincter muscle while breathing like this.  It's a trick doctors use when inserting a sigmoidoscope into the anus of a patient.  Have fun.

have some good lube  (KY Liquid form is great) and you need to RELAX your sphincter muscles as much as possible. Apply lube LIBERALLY on and IN your ass and on his condom. He needs to be slow and gentle in inserting. If he is hung like Dennis Rodman then you have a problem.  LOL

Obviously, it depends on the size of his member (too big...not good), use a generous amount of lube and GO SLOW.  Very important.  I know many people cleanse before anal.  You may even try something like anal beads to get warmed up.

Make sure on the day that you do it you eat almost nothing for obvious reasons. :) The best way to do it is to be on your stomach though the first time I did it I was on my back. When you are on your stomach it seems that you can control it more and be more relaxed. You should prepare yourself by buying a toy and insert it in your butt so that it can be a little more open and used to it. It's something that you should work yourself up to and not just have him put his dick in your ass. It's better if you two have vaginal sex first because that too should relax your muscles more and make you more at ease. Also breath through your mouth while he is penetrating you. He should be lubed up really good and start slow. Have him put it in slowly and little by little. In fact the first time he may not be able to put it all the way in but he will eventually. It's not everybody's cup of tea but I like it. It's best for me on my back with my legs pulled to my shoulders. Start slowly and you must be relaxed. If it hurts tell him and start over. Arching your back doesn't hurt either. Have him lube you up as well as him. Have fun!

using BenGay for anal.  That is SO WRONG!!!!  If you want your ass to feel like somebody burned it with a flame thrower, then use BenGay. Similarly, BenGay on a cock is guaranteed to burn. Don't do it!!!!!   The thread regarding BenGay for anal may have been the worst piece of advice I've ever seen on these boards!!!

Absolutely, plenty of lube and patience. Some ass play with the fingers and tongue is also good for warming and relaxing beforehand.
