Well, I really have to disagree with Maggie on this one. I would be very cautious of any provider who did not care what my occupation was, this is 2006, just a name and reviews is enough? come on! Marital status,OK who cares? Phone numbers mean absolutely nothing anymore. But to just say that to do this we all have to be willing to take certain risks is very foolish. Anyone, be it hobbyist or provider who deals with someome with this attitude is just asking for trouble.
do you give the ladies your real name and occupation? Whether it be someone you're seeing for the first time or a regular? I would assume you must give your real name and occupation if they screen their clients. Yes I'm new at this but I'm gonna join the club soon Just trying to find the right lady!!!!
Not all of them ask for your occupation. Actually I feel better if they check my ID and work badge; that means that she's safety- and security- conscious.
If you are seeing a lady who screens and you give her a fake name, she will not see you for if you are not honest, she will assume you are up to something. She needs your real name to screen properly and when she checks your ID when you arrive and it's different, she will probably ask you to leave. Then, she'll share with all the other ladies in your area that you are up to something and recommend they don't see you. Lot's of problems with giving incorrect information to a lady who screens, as you can see.
Get some recommendations for your area. Some of the screenings I've been put through had the provider calling my job, with my consent of course. And always discrete. They call the reception and would say they're my sister or a friend. I've never had any regrets, they've always turned out great.
I never ask occupations or marital status. I feel that reviews and names are enough. I do not want to get too personal, it makes one uncomfortable and is none of my business. Some things we do need to know, some we don't. A lot of men will share the info without me asking and that is fine, but I do not pry. I do have to get a valid phone number and if the potential client tells me he is married and cant risk a call back, I tell him I would never call back indiscreetly and if he can't trust that, I can't trust him and the call is ended, either because he will not call back on a # I can use/see, or he calls back with a valid # showing. We have to try to put each other in the others shoes in certain cases and this is one of them. Everything is risky, especially in this realm, but if you want to do this, you have to be willing to take certain risks. Hope this helps, Maggie
