your first review and the reviewer is new also, it may take longer.  TER wants to minimize the chance of a fake review sneaking through the system.

Guys do write fake reviews to get the free VIP days, and gals even sometimes do it.  TER admin tries to keep the fake reviews to a minimum (they can't get them all), so when a new reviewer writes one, or the provider is new, they will hold off posting the review until either the reviewer writes another on, or the provider gets another.  The better known you are on your local regional board might speed it up some.  Start posting on your board and post your weekly ad.

well that's simple answer but  
ill give u more detail of my experience
but first off they do tell u that may take up to up to 72 hours which is 3 days
but  honestly if u are waiting 72 hours pretty much sure that there is a problem and will be unapproved
of course u get a chance to edit so its not a final
but if u follow the rules ,( may take a few times writing reviews, unapproved and editing before u are experienced and know all the rules) and review is sound
then I have found that reviews are approved in less then 12 hrs
of course a couple factors involved is higher volume of incoming reviews at a particular time, and time of day review submitted
when I submit at night, my review is usually out by next morning
if you submit earlier in day then probably will also come out in morning
if I don't see it by afternoon, I pretty much assume there is a problem and I go check it myself and edit and resubmit
as a newbie , my errors would be , too explicit language or description of sexual act in the non vip general description,  too much detail of location, or divulging any personal info about the girl beyond the service(eg.  the girl is a waitress back home in japan.... actually I think was rejected once when mentioned girl is a masseuse back home , so they are pretty strict))
