Obviously, I'm new. But I keep reading about a screening process. What does this entail? Is it confidential? Should I only meet with providers who screen their clintele? Any answers would be helpful.
Screening is the way the ladies make sure you are safe and not LE. there are services out there (Date Check and Room Service 2000 to name a few) that will verify you. If you don't see a lady that screens, you are rolling the dice.
Ya now duper I was also a little concearned about the sereening at first myself but it is really nothing to worry about. Just decide how much info you want to give and if she wants more than that just apologize and say that is more than you want to give. And she will say "OK, it was nice talking to you sorry we could not meet" Just because you are on the phone with her does not mean you are bound to a contract or anything, just move on to the next girl.
Here are my rules: I will never give out my home phone number (cell OK) I will not give out my home address (although they can read it if they want to view my ID at the appointment) I will tell them where I work and give them my work number although they cannot confirm employment since I am basically paid under the table.
In my 7 appontment so far I have not been turned away by any of the lovely ladies.
I also think there is something to how you answer thier questions that may instill some trust in them as to if you are telling the truth. Be yourself and be nice. An exchange like this may ruin your chances:
"What do you do?" "I am a CEO of a fortune 500 company" "Whats your direct line" "Uh, Um, I do not know, they do not give me one, yea that's it"
I can understand how, if she doesn't screen, she is taking a chance, but how is he taking a chance? Of course, I'm assuming that he's seeing a well reviewed provider.
It seems that most all of the well reviewed ladies require screening. There are always the agencies, but you probably won't find an independent who doesn't screen.
I agree with those rules. I am fairly new at this, but in the 4 times I have seen providers I have only been asked "what do you do for a living" and then for a driver's license or business card. Frankly, I am amazed that is all they asked. Someone could lie about what he does and give them a fake business card. I assume that there is no law that says LE has to admit to being LE. What if LE sold real estate on the side and showed a legit RE license? I got nervous the first time I was asked that because it seemed like she wasn't concerned enough about my ID. I haven't used an agency, and I expect that they would screen a little more heavily. At this point I stick to familiar or well-reviewed providers, and use rules like Kaprice's for new visits.
