Just thought i'd post a general guide here for all you newbees out there. I've been involved in the hobby now for the past 5 years i've learned quite a few thing in that time and I thought i'd share that here.

#1. BE SAFE: It's common sense but i'll say it anyway, WEAR A COMDOM! I always wear a rubber during intercourse and BJs. I don't open mouth kiss either.

I like to visually inspect my girl before a session too. You can do this descretly by looking over her body for any rashes, cuts or soars during foreplay. Same goes for you, If you have any rashes, cuts or soars, postpone your session for another time. Better to keep it safe.

I like my girl to shower before a session but if that's not possible for some reason I always use antibacterial wipes over the areas were i'll be using my mouth (tits, ass, legs). I may be awkward at first,  but you can do this descretly and smoothly during foreplay. Your date will appreciate knowing your being safe and will make the extra effort for you too.

#2. BE PREPARED: I always come prepared with a small travel bag with Condoms, Lube, antibacterial soap, Hand wipes, mouth wash and a small towel. It may seem like alot but i've found myself in a situation or two where I needed one of these items and they were not provided by my date. Be prepared, your date will appreciate it too.

#3.BE A GENTELMAN: It goes long way in terms of how good a service you'll get. Dress like you would for any date. Keep clean and smelling good. Make compliments, give a smile and nice peck on the cheek when greeting your date and she'll know your a gentlmen, believe me, it will go a long way.

#4. KEEP IT IN CHECK: You dont have to be rich to be involved in the hobby but it can become quite expensive if you dont set your limits. I make a date once a month. This works within my budget and gives me something to look forward to at the and of every month. It also gives me time to be selective and do some research on the girl I want to see.

I hope this short guide helps. If there is anyone out there that has any other good advise, please feel free to add to my post.

Keep it safe and happy headhunting.

Yeah, I'll bet you're reeeaaall smooth with those antibacterial wipes on your provider's body (LOL).
Newbies, you could follow these rules or you could use your own common sense.

Everybody has a level of safety at which they will feel comfortable.  I don't agree that newbies should all arm themselves with a pack of antibacterial wipes to 'disinfect' their provider before contact - unless that's the path they want to take.

In my opinion, there are few absolutes with safety - except that you should always wear a condom during intercourse with a provider and that's almost common sense.

But my personal comfort level includes DFK and BBBJ.  I'm careful in choosing providers with good reviews who have an interest in their health and personal hygeine.

Apart from that, I realize I'm taking some risks, but the rewards are, for me, well worth it.  I don't feel that I'm any more likely to contract something irreparable than I am to get smacked into the next life by one of the 2000 speeding cars that pass before me as I'm trying to cross the street on the way to work every morning.

So, newbies, some of these are good ideas - but after protected intercourse, determine your comfort level and enjoy.  It's hard to have fun doing something if you're worried about catching something every moment you're with a provider.

And if you're not having fun doing this, the reward to risk ratio quickly becomes unfavorable.

If you have to "wipe down" your provider like she's a germy kitchen counter, then you're with the wrong caliber of provider. (Craig's List, anyone?)

If a client started cleaning me off, I don't know it I'd more insulted or horrified... either way, I'd be pissed. And that's sure not a good way to start a session.

So, Grasshopper-- don't follow every bit of advice you read here. Some guys are just plain backward.

My 02. and worth every penny!

How does someone wipe down a partner with what is essentially rubbing alcohol "Discreetly"?  That poster sounded more like a newbie than the newbies!

I'm picturing PocketJacks is a Felix Unger type and he pictures his providers as the other half of the "Odd Couple."  He mixes good common sense advice with his neurosis.

Newbies, use common sense, well reviewed providers and condoms and you'll be fine.

PocketJacks, you should seek professional help.   I don't mean "professional" I mean a psychologist or psychiatrist  And don't feel obligated to bring the handy wipes to your session.

Anti-bacterial wipes may cause the provider & yourself problems.  It's not a good idea to use AB soap or wipes on your genitals.  It kills the GOOD germs too.  Just MHO :D

Not to mention it kills the mood.  Who the heck wants to make love to a guy who wipes you down and inspects you like a horse.  Talk about having the wrong concept of foreplay!

I have often seen people that do not touch door knobs with their bare hands. PocketJacks is cautious, that does not necessarily make him psychotic. Some the items that he listed are common sense, some a bit excessive. I am comfortable with telling whether I should DATY a lady once I get my nose and eyes near the target, but that is my way of going about it.
