Odds are pretty good, depending on what you do.  My advise if you cannot risk a STD do a search and find a provider that does not do Tounge in mouth kissing, Bare Back Oral Sex, And do not service her orally with your mouth (called DATY).  I know it sounds like a drag but this is one way to be very safe.  I think it will still be a good time compared to your normal sex life.  I think I can guarantee that.

And if your first pick's profile says she does Bare Back Oral sex (BBBJ) ask her if she does not mind doing it with a condom.  They will do thier best to accomidate you most of the time.

It is a risky adventure no doubt but the risks can be minimized, but not eliminated.

I can't believe you said that!! Do you honest believe a civy woman you might pick up in the course of your trolling will have always  used protection, and will taken the time and make the effort to get tested for STD's as often as a well-reviewed, well-known provider would?

Escorting is my only source of income, and I believe that is the case with many escorts.  It would take just one review stating that I had given my client an STD to put me out of business for ever! I always use protection and I get tested every 3 months on a regular basis.  I would be a complete idiot if I didn't do that.   My opinion is that the chance of transmitting an STD through oral sex is so minimal that it's not worth mentioning.  Bacteria that thrives in your mouth rarely flourishes anywhere else.  A while ago, I remember reading about how the HIV virus could be transmitted by coughing (airborne droplets) or could be picked up from a toilet seat, yea right!! Unprotected oral sex carries a minimal risk of transmitting an STD, as does DFK.  If I'm sick, have a sore throat, even feel slightly under the weather, I don't take appointments until I have recovered 100%.  

Your attitude that escorts are carriers of STD's and other diseases is from the dark ages, and is certainly an indication of you complete lack of knowledge, research and understanding  in that area.

Oh it is definately worth mentioning to someone who has a wife and has never been exposed to any STD's.

And we appreciate that but you cannot speak for all provideers and I and many married men  are not worried about catching a cold from you, it's the other things that you cannot feel coming on or know when they will be active in your body. Or you have been exposed to since your last test.  I always hear all this talk about testing, who cars how much you test if you are exposed to something in week 2 what diffrence does it make if you test for it at week 12 you just exposed 10 weeks of clients to it.  It's a risk we are all prepared to live with.

Well Suzanne I never said it was more risky from an escort was just saying that it is risky in general.  From what I gleaned from the Original poster question he is a guy completely clean from STD's, like never had anything.  And given this he has to choose between someone who performs 20 acts of unprotected sex (BBBJ) a week with multiple partners or just keep going with his wife.  

Wouldn't you agree that the escort route is a tad more risky?  Just given the law of averages. And given what he decides to engage in.

I said "the odds of catching something are pretty good"  Is that not true?  When I think I read one in 4 women have herpes, does that not translate into a 25% chance of him picking up herpes with a provider or a civi alike?  Or when I see providers say they are clean does that mean they have never had a case of herpes (genital or oral) or does that just mean they are not breaking out right now?

Or when we talk of STD's on this site are herpes just a given?  Or do they count?  They sure count to wifes!!

And besides where do Providers come from?  Do they not come from the Civi population?  Were you all virgins before you started?  

But in reality I think Sex from a provider is less risky not for what diseases you may have but because of what you will not allow us to do.  Some guys may be able to convince a civi to go bare back on some activities.  At least I know providers will not stand for that as their business depends on their health.

But thats my limited opinion, please enlighten me further if I am not grasping some concepts!

I'm not sure using two condoms is such a good idea ... although some people do employ it as a strategy, using lube between them to reduce the added friction that could cause them to break.
