If an "appointment" is more than an hour in the future, it's just a fantasy.

The first time I had this demonstrated to me, I blamed the girl.  Now I know it's the culture.

Not true in my experience.  I often book two weeks in advance when I know I am traveling to another city.  I haven't had a no-show yet.  Now I am talking about well reviewed top tier ladies.  I never make last minute appointments, it's just not my way.  Anyway, do your homework and read about the ladies in these boards.  I'm sure you will fine someone who keeps their appointments made in advance.

I'm sorry this has been your experience.  I have not found the same in my experiences.  While things do happen, I have found the well reviewed Ladies I’ve seen are, as a whole, probably more punctual than I am.  I have found that talking with them before (phone or a few e-mails longer than 1 sentence) helps.  And the last two times a Lady did “stand me up” she MORE than made it up to me later.

I often make appointments several weeks in advance. As soon as I know what days I'm going to be in a given city, I'll get impatient and set up an appointment. I've experienced a couple of no-shows, but that has definitely been the exception.

The girls in question had good reviews; there's just no way I could have known about their (temporary) ditziness.

But I think I overstated the problem.  In the end, it all worked out fine with one of them, and I'll give the other one a chance again some day.

I think I just had a streak of bad luck, which unfortunately coincided with my newbie phase, so I jumped to conclusions.  I would still say to newbies: don't be shocked if the girls flake out on you.  It happens.  Don't take it hard.

I have to agree with Don Duke,

I have had so many broken appointments, I don't count anymore.  This includes well-reviewed ladies (recently, one with 30 reviews, another with 40!) with whom I have had follow up calls and emails. I agree, it is the culture. The sad thing is that these missed appointments never get discussed, unless in the general discussion boards such as this. If you never see the girl, you can't review her.

As far as traveling, I try to make advance appointments.  Most girls upon advance email contact tell me, "give me a call when you are in town", and when I do, they are invariably busy!  Others, when accepting advanced appointments, end up in a no show anyway!

As far as making it up to you...  never much luck in that area either. Once was in Atlanta and had a girl not show.  She ended up coming to LA, and rewarded me by...  not showing again!  This again is a well-reviewed girl!

The lesson to Newbies is along the lines of "a bird in the hand" and "don't count chickens".  Have a backup plan.

IT IS THE CULTURE of any illicit trade to be a little looser than "real " Business.

Legalize it- don't criticize it!
