I have trouble seeing photos on TER.  If someone includes a pic in their post I can't ever see it  I just see a box with a red "x" in it.

Anyone know why?  Is there something I can change in my settings?  I use IE 6.0 on XP pro.

a few questions to narrow down your problem

1. do you have problems with viewing pics in other sites?
2. in TER do you see graphics ok? just not the embedded pics in posts?
3. can you link one of the posts that you have problem viewing?

I can see embedded pics on other sites

I see the graphics all over the site fine, just not when someone puts one in a post

well guess what? i can't view that pic neither because the poster messed up on the linking. if you right click the red box, click on property, you will see that the pic address is

http://www. http://www.jillpages.com/data/501/5352dsc00952-full-beach-layout-.jpg

which is not a valid URL (too many http://)

the correct address for the pic should be

http://www.jillpages.com/data/501/5352dsc00952-full-beach-layout-.jpg

on the other hand, this post has a pic thats embedded correctly. can you view it?

I can almost always see embedded pictures but I can't see the
one you've linked to - which means there's a problem with THAT
picture/link.

Go to the General discussion board and look for recent posts
from the same poster (NOSC).  She recently started posting
pictures with her posts.  Try a few of her posts to determine
if it's just one post or all of them.

This should narrow the problem down a bit more.

whoever posted it doubled the http stuff

I started fiddling around with my IE setting and now I see the pics you guys posted.  I don't know if that was it or if I just happen to try to look at pics with the url wrong.
