Newbie Question: What is an appropriate time to wait for an email response....?

I emailed a provider about a week ago about setting up a meeting about a week from now (two weeks at the time).  Her website requested that initial contact be by email only so I completed the form on her website.  I still haven't heard from her (she's a Latina GFE from Northern NJ), and I was just wondering if I somehow tripped her LE alarm and she isn't returning my call, or whether it is normal for someone to take a long time returning an email from a newbie.

Unfortunately, all of my previous experiences were via the Yellow Pages in different cities or in AMPs so I don't have a reference to give.  This site is a godsend to help filter out bad situations and I plan on contributing more to the community, but I'm just feeling around for the best way to get started (and convince the providers that I'm "safe".

Thanks for any help........

hi Bob

generally speaking, and this is only from my own experience, 3-4 days is not uncommon for email response at least acknowledging you and stating how to proceed with making arrangements for your date. but, after a week has gone by, I would suspect no response will ever be given. (I could be wrong) you are also correct in assuming if you admitted to being new or having no reference, she may have dismissed your request entirely.

there are some ladies that will see you without a reference, or will use your employer information as screening for a new client they have never seen before, just keep searching for them.  I deal with a couple of agencies that have you show a photo ID and a business card upon arrival to verify your identity (not LE). if you can find an alternative like this, it may help you get that all important first reference.

best regards, good luck, mr.man
