Do your Homework. Look at the providers who constantly get good reviews. Stay away from any who have only 1or 2 reviews. Of course someone might call and do something stupid. But by and large the ladies are just protecting themselves from any kind of hassle that is out there. Look put yourself in their shoes. Going to a strange guys room to possibly remove clothing and do whatever comes next. Watch "Leaving Las Vegas" watch what happens to Elizabeth Shue in that movie with those three buddies in their room. Once you see that you will understand why some ladies want a little security. Just relax have fun do your homework and be open with the provider. Remember the more comfortable she is that you are a sane guy looking "not to be lonely" the better time she will show you.

hey all,

I will be in Chicago at the end of Jan. on business.  I have never done this so I have a few questions.

First off, when the providers want your work info, will they actually call it?  And if they do, are they discreet about it?  I am kind of paranoid about that.  Nothing to hide, but just wondered if they (my employer) would get suspicious about it.  As well, I don't have a land line phone.  Some won't take cell phones as a home phone, but that's what I got.

Basically, I just want to come to Chicago, do the business, and not be lonely while there.

Any clues you can give me would be great to completing this trip with a smile on my face.

and have been contacted at that number.

Remember, providers have a couple of concerns.  1) Their personal safety.  A guy who says his name is John Doe working for XYZ Corp, and who answers his work phone "Hello, XYZ Corp, John Doe speaking tends to instill confidence in your trustworthyness.  2) They want to stay out of jail.  I know LE (law enforcement) can be efficient, but unless there is a anti-escort push on, most are not willing to expend the resouces to have a number answered by you, or your voicemail answered by any number at any time.

OK, a couple of caveats.  First and foremost, if you haven't done so already, buy a TER VIP membership, and only give personal information to providers you are sure are the real deal.  Second, I am single, no SO, no kids, less to loose than some, and willing to risk more.  I have only given a number that only I answer, or goes directly to voicemail that I only receive.  I suggest that you do likewise, however in my experience, any calls to my known work number have been most discreet, and it is not too hard to make the conversation sound like a dental, hair, home decoration, etc, appointment to any listening busybodies.

As for your trip to CHI, I know that RS2000 is often used as a verification service.  I understand that they ask for alot of personal information.  You may want to post some messages on the CHI board after Christmas saying that you are a newbie who will be visiting in the near future.  My advice to you, if you receive any responces from well reviewed ladies, provide her with all the info she requires.

I hope this helps,

in paragraph #2, buy a "pay as you go" cell phone.  No statement, no call list, no trace.  This is for descretion.

what kind of questions do they ask?  Who do they say they are?  That's my largest concern.

Someone stated earlier, get a TER VIP membership. You can try the 3 month, money order one first. It is worth the money because it allows you to search reviews for the type of provider that you want. Find ones that have high performance ratings and appearance ratings that are good enough for you. Using reviews allow you to avoid ripoffs, upsellers and generally clueless or bad providers.
Some of the best ladies that I have dealt with do email only. They will ask for some personal information, but all that I have dealt with have been extremely discreet with replying to me or contacting me. Just insure that you email is not shared (ie, no work email and your SO cannot get into it at home). Delete messages permanently as fast as possible.
Good luck.
