hello
i am new to TER trying to build my clientele. I find there's a trust issue, if you have no reviews then it seems like no one wants to be bothered, then how does one get started i ask? seems like i am going in circles. any good advice out there

Well Dynasty I tell you how I would do it if I was starting out.  First I would do a search on TER finding all of the other girls that looked similar to me and provided the same type of services.  Then I would go down and look at thier reviews and see who wrote them.  Write down the reviewers names.  You may find that 3-5 guys have seen just about all these women.  Of those guys find ones who write really well and give good details on thier reviews and who use spell check.  Then buy a VIP membership and send them a PM inviting them to check out your website.  If they set up an appointment ask them to please write an accurate review of the session.  But here is the catch you really cannot ask for the money (if you even have to ask for it at all) until after the session.  I know you told yourself you would always collect up front but if I was solicited for a session and the minute I got there you were talking money I would think LE right away.  When you have a history of good reviews (from trusted reviewers) then you can start asking (if you even have to) for the funds at the begining.

I for one would like to get PM's inviting me to try someone new.  Better that taking your chance and taking one for the team.

My thoughts any way.

Start by posting on your local TER board. You can find your local board in the pulldown of regional boards to the left of this post. Check TER rules concerning placing ads on your local board, those can be found in the useful links post on this board.
Once hobbyists have seen you around for a few weeks you probaly will get a few taking a chance with you. Once that happens it is all about your performance during the session. Perform poorly or indifferently, you might as well look for another line of work. Perform like each hobbyists is the last man on earth and you will not only see those hobbyists again and again, but you will have others knocking each other over to date you.
As far as money is concerned, charge what you feel your are worth but stay in line with your local competition. Screening hobbyists is important, you want to date respectable guys that have something to loose, not ones that will rip you off or mistreat you. Most experienced hobbyists prefer to have your money in an envelop. If your screening is good, you will not have to count it. Work hard to build a high repeat rate, soon you will be totally familiar with the hobbyists that you see and will not need to see many new ones. First and last, performance matters absolutely, you appear to have all the looks that you will need.

Dynasty,

I would strongly suggest that you NEVER discuss the donation during an appointment.  If a client attempts to talk about the donation, you should completely ignore him, and most likely ask him to leave immediately!  If you take KAPRICE's advice and 'ask' at any time during the appointment, you are quite simply making it very easy for LE to bust you!

I never discuss the donation at the appointment, but I put a note on my website which clearly states exactly how I would like the donation to be handled.   I’ve received a great deal of positive feedback from clients about how helpful that is ... it seems many really aren't sure what to do!

I also disagree with KAPRICE's advice about sending a PM to VIP TER members individually.   From reading posts and feedback about any type of individual ‘solicitation’ (although his suggestion is a very mild way of doing that), it's my feeling that the majority of hobbyists prefer NOT to be contacted, and will sometimes go so as far as to post about an escort who has been bugging them.

My advice is to post a fun message on your local board, (yes, you will have to buy a VIP membership, but I think you’ll be very pleased that you did!), include the link to your website and invite people to check out your new/updated website from there.  That way, you will have a far larger audience, while offering those people a choice of checking out your website if they wish. I see nothing wrong with saying that you are new in town/on the scene, and for a limited time you might consider offering a small discount to TER VIP members who write reviews.   A new escort with a good website and a great attitude will always be welcomed, and before you know it, you will be a well-reviewed excellent addition to the local scene.

Good Luck! …and feel free to get in touch if you there is anything I can do to help you,
kisses

Good insight Suzanne, but let me ask you this you wrote:
" If you take KAPRICE's advice and 'ask' at any time during the appointment, you are quite simply making it very easy for LE to bust you! "

Have you ever had a situation where one of your clients simply forgot to leave the donation.  And after the deed is getting ready to go.  Have you ever had to say something like "aren't you forgetting something?"

And how common is it for a LE officer to go through with a sex act and then bust you for solicitation after the fact.  Has that held up in court cases?

And Yes I could see where a lot of PM's would be a real problem to some hobbyists but one just with an invitation to view a web site I do not think would be too obtrusive.  I mean it is not like an email to thier personal account it's just a PM.  And like I mentioned target it only to guys you know are into ladies similar to you, do not do some sort of blanket campaign.

Great points non the less Suzanne, thank for replying.

That is very true, but if you get a guy, like I did, that wanted to do soemthing I wouldnt let him do, then you run the risk of a bad review. So you are damned if you do and Damned if you dont. BTW the problem was I require coverage and he tried to sneak it in without and when i caught him doing it I asked him to leave. So his revenger was to post a bad review of me.

review removed. You should not get punished for preventing a guy from engaging you bareback.

Keep your head about you and maintain well defined goals. You should do well. Do not get caught up in the lifestyles as the money starts pouring in, save or invest at least 35% of it. Have other outlets in life, do not allow yourself to get caught up in substance abuse. Also, if a man that you may be involved with is not paying his way, he is not worth having around, get a pet instead, you will get far more loyalty out of the relationship.

Hi there, I'm a brand new provider. I just started on 9-22. I had my first appointment on 9-23. The company that I'm working for has a couple of guys that like the newbie's and are always a good test for the company and the girls. It was like a training session. I would highly recomend getting involved with a company that provides girls with a couple of great well respected and caring men that you can really trust. I know that I'm very happy that my first really knew the ropes and he also promised that he would make sure and write me an accurate and possitive review.(He was my bosses first appointment, 4 years ago, as well) I cant emagine doing this the way you are. I give you kudos and wish you all the best!!
