All kidding aside, most of the providers I know get tested on a regular basis for STD's.  They also use protection for penetration.  Some also for oral.

Chances are if you went to a bar and picked up a lady, she may or may not use protection and likewise may or may not be tested routinely.

Just use common sense.  Use a cover for penetration.  Do not engage in uncovered "genital to genital contact."  

No one can say that there is no risk.  The only way to eliminate all risk... stay home, do not hobby!  That said, if you do decide to hobby, take reasonable precaution.

I'm well,well over a thousand providers, in about a dozen countries. No STD's, Wear a hat, use some common sense and you should be fine.

I have a reasonably active civvie life as well, same rules, same results. I also haven't made any accidental babies.
