If you give them your work info, they will call your work place with the guise of verifying a Dr's appt or some such thing, and ask for you.  Most often, after they have been switched to your extension, they will hang up before you answer.  They have now verified that you do, in fact, work there.  That is all they need.  For married guys such as yourself, there are a bunch of hurdles you may have to jump over before you can see a provider.

Preferred411 is a verification site that lets the ladies post that they are 'newbie friendly'.  P411 has an 800 number you can call to talk to them and take care of verification.

Be careful about using a personal CC to pay their membership fees. If the wifey goes through the statements and starts to ask questions, you might have some explaining to do. Use a prepaid card instead.

1) P411 is located in Canada where prostitution is legal.  Your info is safe with them.  The others are right about the employment check, but if that still bothers you call their 800# and talk to them.  They'll offer other screening choices.
2) You may have to fax them copies of certain bills, etc. that prove you are who you claim.  You can white out address info.  They say they destroy the docs once verification is complete.  I have never heard of a case where they sold or leaked such info.  If they did it would destroy their business.
3) Some providers screen in different ways, so you can explore those options.  Providers who have web sites will list their criteria.  Pick one that makes you comfortable.  But to me, the screening services are the best.

You're not alone. As long as you stick to well reviewed providers when giving out your screening info, you can trust that the lady is discreet. Getting started is hard, but not impossible. I would recommend P411 as it's my favorite, but I do think they ask for employment info. Many independent ladies screen with employment info as well and are just as discreet. But you should also know that many "newbie friendly" ladies will still ask for more info than just your P411 account if you don't have any history. They need to know who you are to stay safe. If a lady doesn't care who you are, you should be very scared for your own safety. If she doesn't care about hers, she certainly doesn't care about yours.
