Provider w/o recent reviews

Newbie here with a question.

I located a provider I think I will be comfortable with. I reached out to her and after a short background verification by her, she said she would also be comfortable meeting me sometime in the future.

The only thing is, I noticed that no one has reviewed this particular provider since...Dec-2012 (3 months ago, not too bad). There are plenty of reviews (40+) from clients who have written multiple reviews. The provider has a 411, Date-check, and a "reputable" looking website. But I wondered if the provider is so prompt to reply and so open to meeting new individuals, then why nothing for 3 months?

Being pessimistic, my mind immediately goes to LE. After going through various posts on the matter I gathered that yes, even providers with lots of reviews from reputable clients can be turned by LE to save themselves. So going along the same train of thought, I wondered if that was the reason it was so easy to get her attention and a potential appointment. This would be my first attempt at the hobby and I have absolutely  no reviews or references to provide. It all went by so easily, I had a positive response within a few hours. I can't help but wonder if it is too good to be true, then it is. I really would prefer to avoid any legal entanglements.

On the other hand, I might just be thinking negatively. I am sure everyone feels this way, but I think I have a lot to lose if something LE related were to go down. I could deal with the financial bit of a lawyer, but dealing with the embarrassment of it would really hurt. I plan on relocating to a different city in the coming months anyway which is going to require me looking for new employment. I know that if something goes down, I am going to have a lot of trouble in that department. If this is scaring me so much, then should I just walk away?

Thanks for the help.

She could have been busy with regulars (who already reviewed her in the past), which would be a great tell on how good she treats the guys! If she has been around for a long time, if she is any good, she has plenty of regulars ... or perhaps no one decided to review her lately. TWO months ago isn't that long to not have a review (it is barely March right now!). Also some gals are low volume. Maybe she doesn't want reviews anymore. Who knows?

If you are worried, then just don't. If you are comfortable with her reviews and think she'd be a good match, I don't see why not. However I know you are a newbie, so go with your gut on how you feel. Perhaps wait until she has the next review posted, to give you a better calmness.

Can always pm some of the reviewers and ask if they have seen her lately.

I have a huge gap (no pun intended) in my reviews between last summer and this winter. I just didn't see new friends at the time. I'm verified, not affiliated with the Baconater. Maybe she's just newbie friendly, if you feel comfortable shoot one of us a PM and we can help you out with what we do know...

As has been said, Dec 2012 is not that long ago.

I saw someone last week whose last review is from Sept 2012.

Sometimes girls get into a groove with regulars and those people don't leave reviews. Then they may venture out and want to see someone new once in awhile.  Don't stress...especially if she is Indy.  Just look at the quality of the reviews and also the reviewing history of the reviewers.

Not every client writes reviews, and not every single encounter gets reviewed.  Maybe she has a bunch of regulars, in which case it makes sense that she isn't getting new reviews.

The "turning to LE" is as rare as a human being turned into a vampire.  I exaggerate, but it's not like this is a regular occurrence.

Why not PM the guys who reviewed her?

Yeah I am going that route of reaching out to her reviewers.

I am also happy to hear people telling me to stop over thinking this.

there's no reason for them to go thrugh the trouble of writing a new review.  If everything else is good, I'd not hesitate on this point.

she landed a sugar daddy lol. If she has that many reviews from established hobbyists, I think you will be just fine.

I was looking at a provider with 8 TER reviews but not since September, has web site and 40 reviews on another site. She responded quickly today to an email. Seems to be ok, but wanted to get your y'all opinions? Took the plunge last week and it was the best time in a long time!

Not everyone lives and dies by TER.  As well there are geographical issues involved.  Some areas of the country have more TER reviewers than others.  Lags in reviews ARE NOT a red flag.

I wish TER had more of a Bama presence, because the alternative, is insulting lol. Bottom line...gaps in reviews are very common for various reasons. I have seen providers go 6 months without a review on any board, yet they are still active and posting on the boards. When you don't work a lot, you're going to have gaps in your reviews. Add to that, only about 5-10 percent of guys even write reviews.

valid reasons for a gap of several months, not sure if over a year would qualify as not a red flag.

I just do not understand this mentality.  London is right, Alabama doesn't have a big TER presence and the alternative is beyond insulting.  So yes a year without a review is not uncommon.  Most of my clients don't even want to have a user id or an account on ANY board much less write reviews.  Most want to just shop Eros or someplace they can see the info without signing into anything and be on their merry way.  It's not a ding on the provider that all the local gents think this way.  We certainly can't change that and not sure that I want to.  And I'm sure Alabama isn't the only location that this happens.
