hello.  I am new to the hobby, but have been reading the boards for months.  I noticed a lot of hobbiest/providers DFK.  Just wondering if there is a health concern with spreading germs and virus from infected providers, to you, to your wife, to your kids whom you kiss goodnight.  Just the thought of affecting the kids put shivers down my spine.  Any insights?

The hobby involves risks. You should do only what makes you comfortable, if that is no kissing then so be it. You make the decision to assume risk, a lady is not going to force an activity upon you that you do not want.
