Do a search on the web for discussion groups for your city. There is a discussion board for KC that I participate in, and have seen the gentlemen do exactly what you are describing. One fellow came across a lady who piqued his interest, and through the discussion board several of the others agreed to contact her to ask her to tour KC. I have no idea if it worked or not, but what you suggest is not unheard of. Coordinating something like that through TER may not be easy, but if you find a local discussion board it might not be so difficult.
Basically I live in a city of about 400,000 people, and it is not one of the cities in TER. But I know some hobbying goes on here. My thought is that some providers are more willing to visit here if they have a number of bookings, rather than just me, and I wanted to look into that. Isn't it possible to discuss this with a hobbyist and never know his real identity, and never need to know it? After The Ball

PM = private mail look in the upper right hand tool bar and you will see a box that says mail You must be a VIP (paid memeber) to read PM You can send and receive messages to fellow TERmites EOM= end of message or no text If you want a lady to visit She may test the waters by posting her intent to visit your town

ATB, I can't imagine any reasonable guy would have a problem with you contacting them via PM on here. If they are not interested they can just let you know (or ignore your message if they have no manners!) so I'd say give it a try and see how you get on.
A provider will be much more likely to visit your city if she knows she will get some bookings there, as you say. Good luck!
