You have done all your research, found a newbie friendly well reviewed provider and are planing a date.  
Most established ladies will not see your for one hr. during the first date. To minimize LE encounter even further you want to book the hotel yourself. Then you count your investment: 2hrs encounter-$650-$700,
hotel room-$120-$150, drinks/dinner $150-$200. To round it up your first hobby experience is roughly $1000. It is as safe as it can be, she is a delight and then there is a chance that the consecutive encounters will run at half that or less. It seems like a prudent if a bit expansive way to go. Would you do it?

Being a newb can be challenging, remember we were all newbs one time, even the ladies.  Not sure we're your date is going to take place, so I can't comment on the rate, as different parts of the country can be more expensive than others. Also your comment "established ladies will not see you for one hour" is wrong. Yes many ladies want 2 hours, but do more work and I'm sure you can find an escort who will see you for an hour.  My suggestion, find a lady at a rate between $$ and $$$$, there are tons out there. Make sure she has reviews, read the juicy details, you'll need VIP to do this. Request iincall, she's pays for the room or has own private incall.  Work with her on giving her the info she requests on you. Think of joining a date ref service like P411 or date check.  My math says it should cost you the time for the date, TER vip membership and cost of a ref service. I'd skip the dinner and drinks and save that for a second date with a lady.  Shouldn't cost near a grand. Probably half. Good luck

Most of the expenses you include aren't buying you safety or any assurance of value.

#1 - Skip any provider who tries to get you to book 2 hrs. for a first date, let alone YOUR first ever date. Only plan for more than 1 hour with girls you've seen before and feel will be compatible for that long.

#2 - Assuming you've chosen a reliable, well reviewed provider, it's probably safer to visit her incall. You'd  be nervous about renting the room for the first time. She's done it hundreds of times before. She knows much better than you how to go through it without drawing attention. You'll be able to relax and enjoy the experience better by leaving all those details to a pro.

I prefer two hours my first time with a provider, as it takes me an hour just to settle down, but YMMV.  There is no reason you could not do incall on your first time, from a provider perspective, I suspect incall is preferred with a first time client.  Like the others have said, you could reasonably expect your first time to cost $300, if you can get it all done in 1 hour.

No, I wouldn't do it. The previous posters have pretty well summed it up.

And with them, it's usually a lot more than $650-700/2 hours. Dinner and drinks are also not frequent requirements unless, again, you're looking at the higher end market. You can also find plenty of ladies who offer incall at no extra cost, so that means the only thing you're paying for is the gas to get yourself to their place (which is not cheap recently, but it's less than $120-150 ... at least for now).

In short, echoing what everyone else has already said: If $1000 seems over your budget, reconsider your options/broaden your search. There are high quality, reliable, newbie-friendly ladies for almost any budget.

You will need to learn what your hobby budget is...and if you're asking now is this too much...then you have also answered your own question.  As others here point out, a two hour minimum is (at least in Chicago) not expected on a first, second or any date.  Additionally as others point out, find a lady with an incall so you don't have to deal with a hotel room, et al.  Also, since you are just starting out, forget the dinner as part of the date.  It is not a prerequisite to seeing any lady.

Having said that, I spent $ 1,000 on my first date which was a 2 hour outcall thru an agency.  And I did that again on my second date.  Then, and only then did I learn about TER and all the info that is here.  In hindsight (and with benefit of experience) it was the right choice for me to begin my journey as I had many questions that needed to be answered, and sometimes only experience will teach you.  But I never questioned how much to pay for any date (because if I couldn't afford to spend it I wouldn't have).  If you can easily afford to drop the $ 1,000 and not be sad afterwards, then not a problem.  But if you are spending the kid's college fund then you had better reconsider how you want to play this game.

There are also ladies that charge a grand an hour.  He doesn't have to see them either...

Frankly, I'm not seeing how your answer is any different than mine.

There are a number of fine ladies that require all first dates to be 90 minutes or longer, regardless of how many - if any - references you have.  At least out here in Chicagoland.  There are significantly more that do not, but that is not what we are talking about.  We are talking about him wanting to see one that does require it, and that it is not totally unheard of.

My advice to him, still is, to get a VIP account, do some research, find one that does not have this requirement (maybe cheaper too), get screened by a service, send her the information and wait for her to approve a date.

Seems to be the easiest method.

Most girls should be priced around 250, with it varying from 150-400, girls on the other side of 400 have to be crazy well reviewed. I usually find 200 is pretty fair for a good experience, but 300 guarantee's a nice gfe experience. The key is to look at the reviews to see who is really worth what. And many girls will do 1hr sessions. Alot of time's agencies are good to use because they hold themselves to certain standards and so there girls are always at a consistent level.
