When you're from another country it's tough to know what areas in cities are the best places to book hotels for a tour. If I'm in Chicago I stay downtown for example but I'd like to tour LA and San Diego and any ideas where I should park my butt or about particularly easy access provider friendly hotels there would be much appreciated

Seen this on local boards, too.

Some cities the airport and downtown are fine, no so much in others. I wouldn't recommend downtown LA, the West LA would be my rec.  San Diego downtown works, but parking can be an issue. I prefer La Jolla, UTC, or even Hotel Circle, even though some locals don't care for Hotel Circle.

PM. Not a good idea to mention specific hotels on an open forum. Areas of cities are OK like you mentioned downtown Chicago.

No hotel (even if they really like the boost in occupancy rate) can withstand the heat from beinig publically outted!  

....but if you're not, then I hear San Diego is good

.....hotel directory, and the site is "ladies only".  

Ask on the local regional boards and ask for PM answers.  It's never to give specific hotel names, street names, etc., in an open forum.  Discretion is the watchword here.

the manager has hinted that he doesn't care what she does...  she refused to confirm his suspictions.  She brings her own trash bag for wrappers & envolupes which she disposes of in a common dumpster. No point in leaving tell tales behind!  It's still illegal!  
The same hotel told a high volume girl not to come back.  I'd seen her there once.  (Did not know she was high volume until I was on my way out...  

I meant any hotels that either providers have used and found have busy lobby's and no keycard entry so no one notices a few clients coming and going, or hotels that clients have visited to see another lady that they felt comfortable and anonymous coming and going in and out of. Sorry I wasn't more specific!!

Says hotel manager knows her business. So that kinda causes a little angst as i walk past the front desk, especially if the provider has just arrived, since it's usually the same hotel. Also, she says she can call the manager at 8AM and be in by 9AM if they have an available room. Also states she knows of several other providers who regularly use same hotel.
