Getting a foot in the door ???

Hello everyone, I am just another noob here with some questions I couldn't find in the archives. I have read a lot on proper protocols, and etiquette and hope to soon start hobbying. First of all I am in my early 30's, and I own a small business in a small town in Colorado. So my first question would be is a business check or business credit card enough of a work reference or do I need to cough up my business license and tax ID #?

Plus I was also thinking that instead of going for a mind-blowing pse as a first time that it may be better to visit a massage parlor first? Sort of like taking baby steps so when I finally get a date that I would be more relaxed and at ease with her thus allowing her to be more at ease?
Plus maybe this is a better way to get a foot in the door and get references? Or would it be better to join datecheck by letting them have my business license # and tax ID #?

Another question regarding massage parlors, I have seen that they accept walkins, and was wondering what the screening process entails at them?

Patience is a virtue, though it can be rough:)
Thank you

I wouldn't give out a business license or tax ID #.  There has to be a better way.  Perhaps, use an agency girl first to get a reference.  Agencies don't screen with the same detail.  Most just ask for a phone # and address.

You say small business, but you don't say how small.  As long as the lady can call and have somebody answer the phone, or look you up in a business directory, it's big enough.  Personally, my business phone is my cell.  I've explained that and not had problems, BUT I've got references.  Bottom line is to make the lady feel comfortable that you aren't a bad guy.  Explain the situation, take a couple rejections and move forward.  It'll work out fine.  I wouldn't do the MP thing unless that's a comfort level for you...follow your head (the big one).

i've never had a problem and i also own a small business, real small, just me. sole proprietor.  i would never think about giving out my tax id or business license.  i say every provider is different, so i would just do your research, find the girl you want to see and go for it.  you'll find out if you can pass her screening or not.

DO NOT give license # or tax ID #. Use business phone number, etc.

As far as getting feet wet - you can start with a massae parlor but there is a higher probability of getting ripped off with those. There's a lot of up-selling. I would scan the reviews of providers in your area and find one that has 5 or more reviews that the reviewers talk about how at ease the provider puts them when hey meet. Providers see newbies all the time and some are much better with first-timers tahn others.

Good luck and be safe!
