Verification Information- Not sure what to do

I have seen a couple of providers in my area so far, and setting up the meetings was really easy. One just required a phone call and the other just email. In both cases, I would say the screening process was pretty light. I just found another provider that I REALLY want to see, but has a form on her website asking for employment information and a contact number, among other things.

I assumed I was going to have to give out my last name at some point, but the work information makes me a little uncomfortable (I don't work at the kind of place that would look favorably on hobbyists and it would be hard to explain getting a call from a young woman).

Does anyone have any advice on this? Is this pretty normal and should I just "bite the bullet"? Or could I get by without giving the work info.

Thank you.

wants to know. Most ladies who ask for work info know how to be discreet to the max.

If you go to verifications sites (P411, RS2000, and Date-check), you'll be more readily seen by most providers. Not all; some disdain verification sites and want to verify you themselves.

Also, run a search on TER re the subject; you'll find quite a few threads that talk about it.

As with any hobby worth doing well, do your homework; research and research and research some more.

You got off lightly w/ the first two. I didn't do a lot of screening when I started; I just used my instincts and gut feelings. I've since learned to put a little more effort into screening my clients.

Each lady decides what level of screening is enough for her.  Each gent needs to decide what he is comfortable giving out.  If they do not match then it is time to see someone else.

What is fair game is to look carefully at her web form.  If it asks for references then it is fine to write and ask if P-411, D-C, etc can substitute.  That works for many ladies but not all.  If she wants employment info there may not be a substitute.  That is her call, and if it is not in your comfort zone (as it would not be in mine) then it is time to move on to your second choice.

By the way, those first two ladies did essentially no screening.  It makes it easier to see them, yes, but it is also less safe for them and therefore for you.

Prob. Just pure luck you didn't end up with a 240 massage. Or worse, did the ladys upsell you? Have you written reviews yet? My employer is strict, my last provider said the receptionist was very Kool but told her she wouldn't even say if I worked there. When provider asked if the cell number she had matched with receptionist she conformed and that was all it took. Only well reviewed providers for me, no more chances or gambling on others . If you want the best you gotta do the homework and listen to the board.

It should be normal for a provider to ask these questions. She wants to make sure you are who you say you are and not involvement in any LE. This makes it safe for her once she knows who you are and plus if your someone dangerous(not saying that you are), her contact with you electronically would help find out who did it. Females in this business have to be safe. If she is asking for this information, she is legit and knows what she is doing. Trust me, she will be discreet about you.

Give her the names and contact information of the providers you've previously seen. Of course, first call those providers you've seen to see if this is OK, and if they are wiling to be references.

Get VIP status here and ask providers you've seen and reviewed to white list you.

...when a provider calls a work # she (or her screener) will use a ruse like saying it's a doctor's office calling to confirm an appointment, or identify themselves in some way you specify.  Also, you can sign up for P411 without giving employment info, though you'll have to work out with them what info they'll need instead.  That can be a substitute.  Since I've been a P411 member no provider has asked for work info, though that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

If your references check out and they are reputable I would not see why the additional information would be necessary... good luck
