How do i go about getting referrals from providers I've visited?

Or are the questions around here getting harder to understand and answer?

Forgive me LP if my reply seems cranky. But - how do you go about getting referrals from providers?

I would say, ask them? What am I missing? You say, is it ok if I use you for a reference? Then when you
want to see someone new, you tell them to contact the first chick. Is there something more that you are  
looking for, do you want a letter of reference you can take to the bank or something?

Just ask them to provide a reference for you! Send them an email giving the heads up that another lady may be inquiring about you; we are glad to provide stellar references to those who have been safe, respectful, and polite towards us....

Hi LP, you can send a quick email to the ladies you have spent time with and mention needing a reference. Overall though you should not have to. If you have met with them recently ( within a few months ) usually ok to list as a potential reference to your new lady. My friends don't have to ask its a given I will provide a ref, some may prefer a request from you prior.  If its your first time a quick email can't hurt. References keep us all safe men and women alike so don't be shy, its an expected piece of screening.

.....after private time, and he is freshening up/dressing that he may list me as a reference.  

   I simply say: "While I have very much enjoyed our time together, and would love to see you in the future, should you wish to visit with another lady, please know that you may list me as a reference".
