I was wondering about providers asking for references from other providers. If you've never done this before and have no references what then?

This is a difficult question, and there are no simple answers.  About three years ago, there were some pretty public busts by Law Enforcement, that got a lot of ladies nervous.  Before then, it was much easier to find ladies who did not require references, or screen in any other way. It seems things have settled down a bit, and it may be getting a little easier to find ladies willing to see you without references.  Just be persistent.  You only need to find one lady who does not ask for references...  then you have a reference.  Also, the vast majority of independent ladies are extremely discreet and trustworthy.  After all, their reputation is their livlihood. I know giving our personal information is a difficult thing for someone who is new, but it is really a pretty safe thing to do.  Then, having done it only once, you have your reference.

You can try ladies or agencies that require verification information that you can provide. Some independents and agency ladies will give you references once you have seen them and behaved properly. You can also register with Datecheck or RoomService2000

& search for previous threads on this topic. Lots of good info.

I, for one, never give out work info (my choice and personal experience).  If you are unable to get approved by one lady move onto the next.

Information is a two way street, for your discretion as well as theirs.

They seem good for catching on to LE but as far as seeing if a fella is nice or not, how rediculous!

I've often wondered what those conversations are like.  I've seen some ladies with over a dozen pages of reviews (and an unknown number of guys that didn't review).  I don't think of myself as all that memorable.  So, I envision something like, P1-"did you see Joe?" P2-"probably, Joe's a pretty common name"  P1-"was he OK"?  P2 - "hell, I don't remember"

I've been told by a lady that someone that I listed as a previously seen lady said something iffy, but my other info checked out.  Then she said that what was said about me was untrue.  I don't really know what was said, or by who.  Does any of this make sense???
