The first time is the hardest. Unfortunately, I didn't know about TER when I first started, so I got burned a few times. Now when I'm looking for a provider I either start at www.erosguide.com write down the names & numbers of the girls who are attractive to me and check their reviews on TER; or I start on TER with an advanced search, specifying the town and the services that are important to me, and search based on performance. Then I look at each girl and read he reviews. Be careful of providers who have only one review (could be a self post). Becoming a VIP member is a must! You get the details that help you hone in on the right provider for you.

I am new to this hobby; so new that I have yet to gather the courage to seek a provider. I am hoping that some of the more experienced members of the board can instruct me on the do's and dont's of the hobby. Also, I would also like to know what to look for when selecting a really good provided and what to avoid. Finally, does anyone know any good provider's in the Kansas City area?

Joining the hobby is a big step and it is very nerve-racking in the beginning.  Take your time and see what develops.  You will know if and when the time is right to contact someone.

First of all, purchase a TER VIP membership.  It allows you to better understand and evaulate many of the aspects that you will need to know to make an intelligent decision.

As far as what to look for, that is purely up to you.  Everyone likes a diferent type of woman.  Take your time and do plenty of research based on the criteria in the reviews.

When contacting someone, a lady may prefer phone or e-mail.  Please be sure to check out her web site and learn everything about her.  Contact her based on how she would like it.

ALWAYS be sue to be courteous.  Remember you are going on a date with a beautiful, interesting and sensual woman.  Treat this experience, from the beginning appropriately.  Never be crass or inappropriate.

When contacting a provider, do not get explicit in any way.  She wants nothing said or written that would be proof of intent to commit an illegal act.  

When you get to her room, or she to yours, do not make her ask for the money.  Just place your envelope in a conspicuous place.  You will already know the correct amount.

Do not mention the money, and do not talk about sex.  Later, when you're both naked and already engaged in activity, you can say anything you want, but always be respectful.

A huge help for me is the post from Sadona (I have the addy below) It answered many questions on the do's and don'ts and general questions or resons for situations. Its a great place to starte :)
