Ok, this is a bit off topic, but at least it aint robotic spam.

Back east I held a gig where I was the driver/security for outcall girls.  I took the job cuz I knew and trusted the owners, but...... ANYWAY...........that was back east in a NY/NJ suburban area (ie NOT NYC or big city) and now I am in Los Angeles.

I 'hear' the set up is different here. (ie each girl hires her own guy, not the house, different rates etc) But I dont know if thats just one guys opinion or the whole truth of the LA circuit.

This is what I am use to and can you tell me FROM YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE how close or far away from the LA scene it is:

. I work for the house, not the girl. The house will tell me what girl I am gonna pick up and where I am taking her.
. I walk her into the clients home. I look around the house (eyeing for signs of more than this guy, is he too high/crazy etc), I take the money and tell him I will be back in one hour.
. I collect the appointment fee from her client, she doesnt.
. I take my agreed cut from the top at each appointment. Generally 50 bucks from a $250 hour.
. depending on my relationship with the girl and of course the girl herself, I may or may not get a tip from her.

Also to note:
My limited experience is generally with houses staffing newly immigrant girls from central/south america so if the cash flow differs amoung ethnic groups, let me know. Unless its a repeat/known customer, the house did not send us to hotels, only residences. And it was my understanding the $250/hour was the substantial portion of what the cleint paid and tips did not get his out of pocket amount much higher. It was always cash not credit cards.

So anyway, before I make those calls to the booking agencies looking for work, I'd like an idea of what goes on in LA.

This is how it works in Florida as well dafreak. When I worked for the Dungeon in NYC we had drivers for our outcall that were indeed hired by the house Dominatrix and did as you stated above. Since being in Florida and an Indie I have had to hire my own as there are no houses here. Not like that anyway although there are agencies but that is a whole "nother" ball park.
I do not let my driver collect from my friend as I feel thats a privacy and comfort issue. I do get my donation and return it to my driver letting him know I feel secure. I will then return to the room while he waits with his cell in case the situation should change. He will also do a ring in at the hour mark. If I do not return in 5 minutes he will politely tap once on the door to let me know he is outside. We have as of yet EVER had to use any of these as I will call on the hour mark and let him know I will be done shortly etc.
LA is fast moving and I am sure the girls must use different measures. Have you tried to post in the LA boards or ask some of the ladies?

Holy crap.  As a client, the situation you describe would be such a shocking, illusion-shattering turnoff that it would immediately drive me right out of the hobby.  I'm amazed that there would be any repeats.

No offense, afternoonfreak, (I'm sure you're a great guy to watch a game with, over a few beers) but when I call a girl, the last thing I want is to meet YOU.

I have been floating silently around for about a month becoming familar. The provider side is new to me. The Dominatrix has been around 11 years ( !!! ) I am waiting to make my big debut just trying to figure how and where !

I haven't called any girls to my home, since there are planty of incall independents here in south florida. But, all of them are established and so on the older side of 30. I was thinking of trying out a couple of younger girls at my home. However, If your whole driver scenario is how it works then I will just burn that plan right now. No way am I having some dude case my joint then "wait" outside while I get naked (read completely vulnerable) inside. Thats just askin for heap big trouble in my book.
