I am new to this hobbie and am doing my research for my first experience.  Just about every review includes DATY and there is never any mention of using a dental dam or anything like that.  Are guys just going down without regards to STDs?  How often do guys catch something from DATY?  I ask because I love DATY but want to take the proper precautions.  Will the provider be offended if I break out the Saran wrap?

if you get into this hobby, you are going to take some risks.  Any time any fluid is exchanged, there is a risk.  However, having said that, some risks are greater than others.  Bare back full service is a helluva lot more dangerous b/c you expose fluid exchange on both sides into areas that are not made to combat disease as well as say your mouth where one of saliva's main purposes is to break down matter in the mouth.  Then its met w/ digestive juices whose acidity further breaks down what came in.

I have been doing DATY all my life.  I absolutely love it, enjoy it and think its an important way to show a provider its not all about you.  And its NEVER been a problem.  Nothing beats pleasing a woman and experiencing it with her holding your head between her legs, shuttering, telling you she's going to cum, and getting your face all wet.  Remember, if you're looking for GFE, that's part of the intimacy along w/ DFK and BBBJ.

Choose established providers w/ good reviews.  These providers generally get themselves tested regularly and are generally safer than those who are new to the business and/or have few or no reviews.

Hey Oscar, we just had a conversation on this very topic, follow the link below.  It is just my opinion but I would think many of the guys that regularly DATY have already been exposed to some of the more common STD's so really no risk to them.  But if you really like it that is just a risk assesement on your part.

There is a slight risk of contracting genital herpes or HPV (genital warts) from DATY. That said, covered in-n-out is a higher risk than DATY or BBBJ. I have read this in countless medical articles. Also, when I went to college about 15 years ago, at orientation we had to go to some sex education thing. They had a gay frat boy who contracted AIDS talk to us, and then they had some educators with placards labelled with activities. They asked people in the audience to have risky behavior sorted from left to right. Again, DATY and BBBJ are less risky than covered in-n-out. I went to a top 10 school, so it wasn't some community college clowns that were making this up. This is a FACT.

Keep in mind, unless you have a tiny wee wee, that condom doesn't cover it all. The base of your wee wee will come in contact with the labia, or more. Also, condoms break or slip off. Shit happens.

I personally do uncovered DATY, but I don't penetrate. I stick to the lips and the love button. Women get more out of DATY in these areas anyway. I have not contracted any STDs yet. You have a much greater chance of contracting something by sticking it in the kitty, even if it's covered.

If a provider looks kind of skanky, and has lots of those white patches of skin from wart removal, I don't DATY, and I never repeat. Like a sushi chef, you need to inspect her gadget before you do anything. Unfortunately, herpes can spread even when sores are not evident. But again, you have a much greater chance of getting that with the ol' in-out, even with a raincoat... Statistically speaking, DATY and BBBJ are safer than covered in-n-out. You're always taking a risk as a hobbiest, so don't fool yourself into thinking that not doing DATY or getting BBBJ's means you are safe...

Even if you stuck your bare willy in her kitty, and she had something, you still have a certain probability of catching something. Most people who catch STDs are with their partner, and doing it 5 times a day, and then passing out at night, without washing up. Just like the Valtrex commercial says, 70% of people caught it from their partner. If you're with a provider maybe once a month, and pop twice in and hour and wash up, you're not at as huge of a risk.

As you can see, I once really wondered about this, and was on the fence. I really took stock and did my homework, and this is how I feel. Many will disagree with me. That's fine.
