For me the old standard is an elemental part of any erotic experience. Love it and can't help myself. I have been with a few providors now. All seemed very clean. Yes, I use a dental dam. I am told by my partner that the sensation is almost 100% natural for her. For me, there is a diminshment in the enjoyment of the raw experience. I accept it as a trade off in order to play safe. I want to have fun, not get sick (either mildly or more severly).
Dental dams are inexpensive and easy to get at your local adult book store. I don't know if they are sold at pharmacys.
Tell you what though, the very thin latex dental dams I've been using are very lightly (and pleasantly) scented. I shudder to think about the poor girls who go down on guys with CBJ and get a mouthful of lube or Nonoxynol-9 or some other hideous tasting chemical. Very good question. This is something I have been contemplating lately myself. I am very big on performing DATY.
