Champaigne/Wine

If you like to have wine or champaigne with a provider, is it customary to bring it with you or order from room service? I would rather bring, but seems impractical? Recommendations for a rookie?

I always bring it with me.  But better ask first, a lot of providers I've been with don't drink.

Always ask.  When I was just beginning, I brought a nice domestic red, and she tells me that it makes her dry.  LoL! We couldn't have that!

Been told that once since, so now I avoid bringing red wines unless the lady expresses an interest.  I prefer a Chardonnay anyway, but it's better to ask than to guess.

I too get very dry in the mouth and throat after drinking red wine--definitely affects the BBBJ.

So, guys, no more red wine, unless the lady OK's it first. :)

But good champagne--now that's a different story...brings out the PSE action too (at least for me after two glasses, LOL).
