Red tide

I have an appointment with a new client today.  He and I have had trouble getting our schedules together.  Now success.  Until...the red tide.  Should I simply cancel, or should I ask him how he feels about it?

When Aunt Flo comes to visit, I appreciate a heads up by the lady. I've always been very appreciative of the notice. If your new client is a seasoned hobbyist, this will probably not be the first time this has happened to him.
Good luck

Good news.  We are going to just have a meet and greet type lunch.  And yes, of course he will pay me for my time.

I had one lady in the same situation, and she let me know. It was appreciated, and although the activities were a bit limited, we had a great afternoon. If you're okay with it, tell him, and let him make the decision.

On the rare ocassion that I start early, I always tell my clients the truth. Some decide to reschedule, others chose to go ahead with the appointment with limited activities.

Tide or no tide, things have a habit of cuming out OK.  Could be interesting and fun.

and if he is paying you full price, he is a nicer person than me. lol

Seriously though, kudos to you for being upfront. I wish all women were as forthcoming.
