Brianna your post here is a good start. I suggest you take the advice of MichaelCa and read all the posts on the link he provided. Also take the time to check out all of TER, this will take a bit of time as there is a tremendous amount of information on this site, all of it GOOD information. my advice is to stay with this site (lurk on others if you wish)but there is no doubt that TER is the best site for the provider and hobbyist.
