To me that looks like if you sign up, you get free VIP days...

Apparently its only if you sign up to be a VIP, you get additional VIP days...

Am I missing something?

They've done that for a few years.  If you buy VIP, you get some extra days free.

You are right!

They have done this before, offering an extra 90 days of VIP for a year membership.  I have done it twice.  It's a good deal.

They only do it right around Christmas time.
