If you make the appointment well in advance then timing may be an issue. A provider's understanding of her time is approximate, not exact. The timing can be off, sometimes it does not start until during the session, sometimes just before. I had this happen recently after a session had started, she offered a refund of part of the fee but I refused and allowed her to move on to take care of herself - she was such a nice person that I would not hesitate to see her again at the right time.
I've had it happen twice ..... it was really no big deal ... the ladies were more upset than I was ... it just happens sometimes and you have to roll with it. There are still alot of choices left even though DATY is out ........
needless to say that both stilltrying and spinner are correct but usually if I make an appointment that far ahead I find that my girl will know and tell me it's her day off or something similar to let me know that it's not the right time. It's very important to a provider to know her timing and is rare that you'll see aint flo, not impossible but rare...
I must disagree with you, zgork. There are some women with very regular schedules, who could probably tell you to the hour when Aunt Flo will begin. Then there are others who cannot tell what their timing will be, for some do not have such regular schedules. Some even vary by a week or more. However, I do agree that the odds are most likely very low that it will begin during any particular hour.
I recently got up the nerve for my first session with a provider, found someone based on multiple TER reviews who I thought would be good to break me in, and set a date. Alas, she contacted me the day before our meeting to advise that her monthly visitor had arrived and to see if I wanted to proceed. Her website said she offered other cultures, however, she had just come off a bout with the flu and wasn't up to some things otherwise on the menu. After much thought, I decided to postpone, however, since she took the iniative to let me know, I will certainly reschedule with her. I was impressed that she gave me the 'heads-up'.
