Good question, but other than using protection and asking questions about any visible lumps, bumps, boils or warts, you can't.  It's a risk you take.   Then again, the chick that falls for your lies and bullshit at the bar or club could have some disease too.   I know it sucks, but a guy has to get laid, right?

you can't and they don't. Look out for obvious signs, do everything protected, and get tested regularly. The attached link takes you to a web site where you can get some good information on STDs.

I have started asking ladies that I plan on seeing what their STD testing protocol is (and I tell them mine.) Its an uncomfortable question, but I have never found a lady to be upset with the question yet.
