Anxious to get reviewed

Hi, my name is Nina and I'm from San Francisco. I just recently started my website and am adding more pics within the next few days.  Can anyone tell me what seems to be the most successful method of advertising or exposure?  Also, does it seem offensive to ask someone to review you?  I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable asking my existing clients for a review.  However, it seems the reviews could help me a great deal.

Somebody, please advise. Attached is a link to my website for those of you looking for a lusty latina in San Francisco

Okay, these comments are meant to be constructive and I hope you take them that way.

1. You typed in your link incorrectly. You left off the '.com' . People are pretty lazy, you have to make sure you double check the little things.

2. I know the average rate in SF is slightly higher than LA, but youhave set yours at the top of the scale. For someone who is trying to get business and has no reviews, starting at the top rate for your area is probably not the best idea. I would suggest you drop to the average rate in your area or maybe slightly under until you get some regulars then raise it to eliminate those you don't want to see.

3. Not much action on the SF board on TER but there is some. Advertise there, you can do it once a week. If you want reviews, you can either offer a special to TER members or as some ladies have doen, offer a discount on the second date after they post a review of you.

4. As a hobbiest, I do not find it offensive if the lady asks me to post a review, actually they do it all the time. Most of the ladies prefer to have their name appear on the new reviews list fairly frequently, it seems to bring in more business.

5. As for advertising, you need to talk to the other providers in your area and find out which ad boards bring in the most business and don't cost an arm and a leg. I know that Lovings.com has a fairly good rep in your area. However get friendly with some of the other ladies and ask for help.

Wow, I'll consider what you've said.  Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.

the URL address from the browser, select the "http://" from the Link URL field, paste and replace that with the copied link.

You are probably still under moderation since you are a new poster.  It is hard to check whether a link is correct or not until the message is posted.  In time, I think you will become an unmoderated member of TER boards.  It would be easier to double check that then.

Good luck.

Good luck.

And I don't mind being asked to post reviews either.

1. SF Redbook is a dominant review site in SF.  There are many active discussions in that site.  Try to introduce yourself there.  There are many TER members in SF who see lots of ladies.  SF are one of the most actively reviewed cities in TER (215 reviewed submitted in the last 2 weeks compared with 282 in LA).  It is just that SF TER member don't participate much in TER's SF board.

2. Both Lovings and Eros seem to be the favorite ad sites for TER members.  Once you have a number of good reviews, you could include the link to your ads.

3. If you have time, try to come to TER chat rooms from time to time (TER Lounge doesn't require VIP status).  There are many members who traveled from LA or SD to SF.  They might want to check you out in one of their visits to SF.

4. Participating in discussion in TER boards (General and LA) would also gain you valuable exposures.  A number of highly rated ladies attract steady attentions from members all over US.  It gave all of us some idea of who you are on variety of issues.  Be careful though, it is a 2 edge sword.  Try to diplomatic in discussions.

5. Don't get defensive or frustrated with reviews.  If you are the real deal, one or two bad reviews won't hurt you in the medium/long term.  In TER, there is a process that you can challenge a review if they are false.  I would suggest you not to ask staff to pull your reviews.  It is extremely hard for them to be restated.

6. VERY IMPORTANT - Don't ever self post a review or ask a friend to do a fake one.  Staff and TER members are very astute in sorting out false reviews.  (I am one of those members who occasionally report cases of suspected reviews)  There are a number of otherwise good ladies in LA and Boston who were banned from TER because of self posts.

7. It might be worthwhile to pay for a TER VIP membership to check reviews about you and learn from reviews of other highly rated ladies.

Ultimately, it is the service you offered that will make the difference.

Good luck.

I'm sure that there are a zillion sites offering free advertising which may help, but many don't get that much traffic to probably do you much good.

I know that FiveKisses.com is offering free photoads, and one or two of their sister sites as well.  They are new though, and not much happening yet in the SF area.

Still, it's free... and ya never know.
