I am a total newbie and have been trying to set up my first appointment but it seems I am 0 for 2 with getting responses back by email. Is my being only 23 the reason I am not getting anywhere ? Should I just give up ? I only want to have an appointment with someone with good reviews on this site for obvious reasons . Any help would be appreciated .
doesn't even want to TALK to me, WHY on God's green earth would I want to fuck her? The troubling trend is "give me your $$$$, but I don't have the time or care to talk to you"!!! Personally, I want to know, (by voice) if the woman sounds sexy?, sounds fun?, sounds like she has a good sense of humor?, sounds like she has a brain? Etc. Etc. I also want to know if she sounds like "Donald Duck sucking helium", or sounds like "the Nanny". I generally refuse to see Email only ladies. Last I checked GFE didn't include written forms with personal information, and a refusal to speak with a guy with whom she is probably going to share the MOST intimate of acts. My recommendation is to call a well reviewed Indy provider that will talk to you. (I'm afraid the email only ladies are only increasing in number, as providers get lazy, and use emailforms as screening tools). If this pisses you off as it does me, vote with your wallet, and see someone that's not too freaking LAZY to answer, or return phone calls! Good Luck. Get TER VIP if you don't have it!

an outright boycott of that trifling, lazy, and impersonal, practice. When providers ask us to fill out forms tantamount to an IRS 1040, it gets my blood boiling. I really get a kick out of provider email questionnares that ask for "self descriptions" of the hobbyist, with specifics such as weight, hair color, age, etc. WTF do some of those fat, old, bald, guys with wigs reply on those forms? Do they say, "I'm an obese, geriatric, bald man with a synthetic roof over my head? LMAO
I understand a provider's need to screen her clients, but one screening form I saw asked for so much detail (i.e. current address, previous address, full name, etc, etc.) that I started wondering if it were a sting. Is that customary?
If you are contacting ladies from TER, you may want to review the emails you are sending.
What are you saying.
Don't get graphic, don't be to aggressive.
You don't necessarily need to state you age, either.
Just let them know you are a newbie, and you are in your early 20's.
Be patient and if someone hasn't responded in a few days, try again.
If they haven't responded after two attempts, move on.
There are many great ladies who will.

Yes, there are many providers who limit their services to more mature men (the dfinition of maturity varies). At 23, there are some ladies who will not see you. If her ad suggests that you are too young for her, move on, otherwise, pursue the opportunity, but don't mention your age unless asked.
Now a question for you - how much lead tme are you giving her? When first contacting a top lady who I've haven't met, my e-mail is at least 4 or 5 days in advance. If your 2 unsuccessfull attempts have been like "are you avalable tonight", or "can I see you tomorrow afternoon," no replys are dissappointng, but not unexpected. You have to give her time to read your e-mail, consult her schedule, and screen you, if she requres this.

I agree with the previous posts. And will just add:
1) Indies are one person running their whole "company": accountant, scheduler, shipping, delivery, quality control, etc. They get a lot of email, especially if they are popular. It is not like ordering from a website
2) Some may be interested in meeting you first without a session, since you don't have references. You will stay pay for their time and any incidentals (meal, coffee, etc). Part of the cost of getting into the game.
3) You could consider a registration service like Room Service 2000 or Preferred 411, (can find via Google) but these can be regional and may not be well known in your part of the country
4) You may consider a well reviewed agency, just to get your feet wet
5) There is alway the option of a trip to Canada, but that could obviously have cost issues. Here is where I got started.

I have been asking for a appointment two weeks in advance and know from reading this site not to talk about sex with them. Hopefully my luck will change soon. I have been sending a link in the email of a picture of me on the net is this bad form ?. I kinda like the Idea of email being first contact but its not seeming to work out to well.
I know it is frustrating, but this can be a difficult hobby.
I've seen many guys post messages on regional boards, saying, Hi I'm new here, and would love to meet a top lady. You'd be surprised by how many top ladies have responded. But be assured, being new to the hobby, having no reference, you will be asked to provide a lot of personal infofmation. I've never been burned, in my 18 yrs in the hobby, but the risk is there.

I have found that trying to communicate with providers via email is very difficult and unreliable even in instances, as previously mentioned, when you are trying to set an appointment days in advance.
When I first started hobbying, it frustrated me that few providers would respond to emails. I mean they post them on their site and say contact me. WHy wouldn't they respond?
I had providers give me their email addresses and yet they still didn't reply very timely if at all. But so as not to dish all providers there are a few who do get back but usually it is the next day.
Words of advice - If you are trying to set appointments ... use your cellphone.
Phone contact is definitely a good choice, but it seems that if they do not recognize your number you end up talking to voice mail, and is that any better than an unanswered email?
Maybe it is YMMV on email, but it has worked for me, more than once. And some have gone unanswered. And in some cases, I have sent an email and then followed up with a call to say "hey, did you get my email." Gives them a chance to check my credentials and know I am not wasting their time.
I guess at the end of the day it just takes some patience and time. There is no one solution that will always work

Do you think my best bet would be to just explain my situation on the regional board (Michigan) and see if I get any takers? I am done sending emails with my phone number in them and not getting any replies. I don’t think I have it in me to just call one up ( im kinda a shy guy ). I might have to check out that room service 2000 thing. Does that help a lot ?. I not really impatient Its just I don’t know how much longer I will have the nerve to try this out .

E-mail is a waste of time. Who even thought of this medium for this business. I'm spoiled after living in Canada for a good number of years. You look on a couple of sights and pick out 3-4 ladies and write down the agencey's phone number. You give them a call once you reach your detination, tell them who your want to spend some time with and request a time. The lady shows up and you have a great time. PRETTY SIMPLE. So far I've had one out of two good experiences here in the Boston area. However I feel that I'm at the agency's wishes. I feel like a little puppy begging for dinner. We are the ones handing out a chunk of change yet they are beating us into submission. This has to stop. If it doesn't let charter a jet to Montreal,Toronto or Vancouver and let these US ladies wake up to a reality check. Enough said....
