You can suggest some role play as long as the descriptions do not verge on sexual descriptions.

For example:

It is OK to ask if they would like to play doctor.  (There's no law against playing doctor.)

On the other hand, asking if you can perform a gynecological examination on them crosses the line.  (Except, of course, if you are a gynecologist, in which case they ought to be payng you rather than vice versa.)

Agree with mrfisher, don't cross a boundary. I would give her a general idea of what your looking for, let her screen you, and she will probably guide you from there.

I don't advertise role playing or fetishes because I have no experience with them and have no idea if I would be up to par, although I have no problem indulging requests that I feel comfortable with. I got my first role-playing request and I'm very excited about the scenario!

I would agree that asking the provider ahead of time, at the time of booking the appointment if role play would be an option for the appointment.  I don't think that's something you would want to just bring up at the beginning of a date.
