Ok, soooooooo I've recently registered with TER and have NO IDEA how this works. I understand its purpose, but I have tooooons of questions...

Can you guys help me out???

How do I start recieving reviews?

Aren't I suppose to have a TER I.D?

How do I communicate with hobbyist & other providers??

How do I advertise or bring traffic/ attention to myself through this site??

Short answers to your questions:
1.  yes, we can help you, ask questions on this forum
2.  you get reviews when you see clients that are members of this site
3.  you don't have an ID# until you get a review posted, and your first reviewer creates your profile
4.  you can communicate by posting on your regional board until you have access to the PM system, this is a good way to get yourself known in your local area.
5.  if you have an ad posted somewhere, or a personal website, you can post an ad on your local regional ad board once every 7 days.  If using a personal website, you must have the TER badge as a link back to here on your site, and it must be on the first or second page of your site.
6.  Read the self help center.

just a couple of additions to his post:

1) just repeating - ask lots of questions here on the newbie board, everyone goes out of their way to be nice and helpful

2) It's ok to "advertise" that you are looking for reviews. Be careful about offering discounts, free sessions, etc, in exchange for reviews, and it's unwise to try to "guide" a review for a higher score - trust me, it will get out no matter how discrete you think you are, and it will damage your rep. NOT saying you would ever do that, obviously I don't even know you - just an FYI.

and, it's sometime fun and informative to BROWSE the general board (or other boards that interest you like sports, legal, politics and religion) but be very cautious about jumping in - they eat newbies alive :-)

LOL I'm new to the site, not to the business. I'm fully aware of how to screen clients and how to conduct my business. Thanx for your feedback, sir.

and go over all the details, plus give you your 1st review. What state are you located and when are you available?

Be sure to get VIP status for your TER membership.  (That is, pay for the membership.)  That way you can have unlimited use of the PM (mail) feature.

that you can link to when you post ads on your Regional Board... these ads are only allowed once every 7 days, and you MUST put the dates you are visiting (if out of your local area) in the header, as well as linking to some ad site that is approved by TER. P411, Date Check, Eros, etc. are all accepted, but some are not so be sure to ask.

If you are a totally new provider, you need to worry about screening more than anything else, to be honest, and many of us are happy to help. Once you have VIP you can send private messages.
