Safety is also an issue. You might not be LE, but you might still be a creep, asshole, abuser, thief, etc. Hence refs and oks etc.  

Work info still needs to be verified. You could be lying, or it could be a friend's info.

Screening is not just to make sure you aren't LE.  

It's to -

- find out how you've behaved with other ladies.
- find out whether you have a violent record.
- see if you really are who you say you are.
- make sure you aren't someone she crosses paths with in her real life.
- find out a little about you to help give you a better time (reading your past reviews for example).
- and more.

You'll discover that every provider will screen differently. Be prepared to provide whatever information the lady requires in order for her to feel comfortable with the session. Some ladies may consider calling you at your place of employment enough; other ladies want 3 references, still other ladies will accept a simple okay from a verification site.  

There is an adage that one should never argue/negotiate with a lady over rates. The same is true with screening. Never argue with a lady over her screening method and try to get her to compromise her comfort level. If she wants to verify your place of employment and you are not comfortable doing that, and she won't accept any other method of screening, than move on to the next lady. Don't whine to her try and convince her to not screen you by claiming that you're " a really nice guy"  Not cool.    

You have to understand that a provider is a 1000 times more nervous seeing a first time client than you are about seeing her.  If she is well reviewed (and as a newbie these are the ladies you should only be seeing) and you have read the reviews thoroughly, you can at least walk into a session with the confidence that 1.) the lady is a legitimate provider and 2.) with a basic assumption of what services will be available to you during your session.. Her reviews should eliminate your guesswork.

Conversely, the lady know NOTHING about you, other than Puchi is interested in seeing her at 3PM on Friday. So she has to screen you with whatever means is necessary for her to feel  
confident about seeing you. You want her to have the same confidence in who you are as you do with her. Trust me, the session will go a million times better.

Even well reviewed providers have been known to go off the rails and have abused the trust that has been placed with them regarding safe guarding and not misusing personal information that has been given to them in confidence.

This is a board where the newbies are supposed to be "helped" not "indoctrinated" Guys have a right NOT to give out information that "could" be used to ruin their life if given to the wrong woman, OTOH this does mean that not all providers will be willing to see a potential client who won't provide the information they require.

Please listen to this gentleman. He knows what he is talking about and epitomizes the type of class that endears providers to hobbiests.  

If you ever have a specific question, we would bet he would be happy to advise you.

I'm with GaG on this one - you are giving bad information to newbies.  I will give as much information as I feel comfortable giving.  If it's not good enough for her, fine.  There are hundreds, if not thousands of fish in the sea who will find the information good enough to see me.

I think his post was very helpful to newbies.  Looks like several people who read it thought it was good advice, based on the Likes.

But I think adding a couple of words to the part about needing to be comfortable giving info requested by a provider would have been a good idea.  The two words are "for example", which I believe was implied but it wouldn't hurt to make it clear.

It's too bad that in a thread on the Newbie board, we can't set a good example by disagreeing with a post without beating people up.  (That's a general comment on the entire thread, not just on this sub-thread.)
