Does advertising on TER bring much business?

I get about 90% of my business from TER, so I've found it works very well for me.

However, you might find it difficult to get business at first if you have no reviews as TER gentlemen tend to put a lot of weight on them. If this is the case, once you've posted your ad you could ask clients if they are a member of TER at the end of the session. If they say yes, then you could politely ask if they could write a review if they have the time. Sooner or later, someone will and once you get started, your reviews should take off without you having to ask. By the way, it is against TER rules to offer clients an incentive to write reviews, so do not do this.

Anyway, you can post one ad per week on your local board for free, so you have nothing to lose by trying it.

You can put a link to your website on your post.  There are simple free websites you can use if you do not have one.

And I love gents that post, that way I get to know them, too.  Chemistry builds so well on this board, I love it!
