Re: Where Should I Park?

So lets say, hypothetically, that I wanted to visit a provider who is part of an agency.  That agency has a couple apts/condos and a few girls work out of one at any one time.  So I drive to the community, find the building and know roughly, but not exactly, where the apt is.  In other words, I've gotten a second call that tells me the number.  So where is the best place to park?  Its 1pm, little kids around, some stay at home mothers and retirees walking out to their cars and/or just outside cause its a nice day.  I assume that I'm not the first client of the day, and certainly there are several each week.  Might this not arouse the suspicions of neighbors?  So should I park a few blocks away, saunter by and quickly turn in to the door way as I pass?  Park just outside and walk in quickly so as to be out in view for as little time as possible?  I'm wondering what the standard operating procedure is in this case.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I wouldn't go near an in call set up like that. Sorry but there are just too many risks. Any agency with half a brain knows better than to run in calls out of an apartment complex. Sorry, it's just DUMB!

The only two times in over twenty years of hobbying that I have come close to getting busted where at residential in calls.  In Both cases the operations where busted within days of my visit. One time I even saw an un-marked cruiser circling the block as I was looking for a parking spot.

Nice big anonymous hotels are the way to go.  Any agency with their act together knows this.

I agree with Boston guy.  I'm very suspicious of seeing providers in apartments.

I've done it but I'm nervous as hell.  In a set up like that though I would park away from the suspected building and do the third call from your car before walking over to the apartment.

Sad, but this is good advice.  I actually knew a good provider once who did incalls from her own apartment. I visited her there once and I must say it felt really strange knocking on her door with her neighbors watching. I didn't return.  A couple months later her website was gone and she was delisted on TER. Maybe she moved or got out of the biz, maybe not.

Be safe.  Stick with the standard hotel arrangement.

It says:  Hobbyist Parking Permit, and has an icon of a guy with a giant pecker sticking out.

I just pull over into any space that is available, fire hydrants for example, and I've never been hassled.

but seriously folks, listen to what the other guys are saying.

When ever possible, put the car in a lot or garage for maximum discreetness.

It seems somewhat common with some of the asian providers that I have visited in my area.

They are nice condos, and large complexes.  It's not the small apt with a courtyard so you can see every single apt.   They are long hallways.

It doesn't have lots of visibility.  But there is some.  I went to one a few times...  and they moved.  They moved to another similar place, on the other side of town.  Perhaps they have a 2 month lease or something along those lines.

I don't know if they request this way or not, but the ones I've been to at least are slightly out of the way, and not so obvious.

Anyway, to answer your question, in MY opinion...
Park at another building.  Walk around the other building first.  Or walk over to the park and then come back.  Or go up the 'far' flight of stairs instead of the close ones.

Does it protect everything?  No, but at least it'll help.

I'm not saying this type of place is better than a big hotel, but..  If that's where you end up, and you want to be a little more discreet, then that might work.

gave me directions to where to park (garage on the corner).  Another option is to take some kind of bag with you such as a tool box or  computer bag; at least it will look like you are there to fix something.

I agree.  This hobby must at all times be discrete.  An apartment building is totally NOT discrete.  Men going in & out at all times.  Even suburban housewives get caught by neighbors but apartment with multi-girls?  This is high profile & likely to be busted.

Ladies who use hotels change hotels / rooms frequently.  Get different room if they return to the first.  Hotels with inside doors are hard to observe.  Motels with outside doors are easy to stake out.

Do NOT see providers who are not discrete.  Their carelessness can get them busted & take you down with them.
