Which reminds me of another thing ... How can someone with 10, 20, 30 or even more reviews still have an official profile with a lot of "Don't Know"s? Maybe the first one or two guys didn't get answers to CIM or FIV or Implants. But even after VIP reviews discuss the matters in detail the profiles don't get updated. I assume that affects the output of the search function.
A lot of guys (most guys?) don't ask about "anal" or "more than one guy" but the finish?
If it's official policy, maybe we should submit more "problem reports" to get CONFIRMED (by reviewers) profile data changed and updated.
Can anyone be so kind to tell me on how to submit a review of a provider who already has a profile? When I click on the "submit a review" button located at the top of the page, a blank profile form comes up. The provider already has a profile so I don't want to create another one. I just one to add my review to her existing profile that already contains other guys' reviews. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the club. You and many others would think that you should be able to select a TER ID or profile and have it autopopulate the relevant parts of a new review form but that's not how it works around here. You actually have to enter every item manually (or cut and paste, line by line, field by field) and THEN write your review. There isn't even a space for you to enter the TER ID of the person you are reviewing. You will sometimes notice that some providers have more than one profile, I guess because the moderator couldn't match it up with an existing profile and created a new one.
When they redid the TER website several months ago, a lot of people were hoping that this is a valuable common sense feature that they would add but they didn't. All the changes were pretty much cosmetic.
you go through all the hassle and then it gets rejected for some insane reason!!!! You know like to much info, not enough info, or the best one of all "from time to time we choose not to post review" (in other words we're just not gona post it).
So you can either fight getting reviews approved and posted or you can do as I do and say screw the reviews here! Too much work and for what??
Unfortunately, the reviews don't allow you to do this, but trust and it will happen. The mods/reviewers of you review match up based on name, website(s), email, phone etc.
All you do is fill out the review...happy hobbying.
You have to fill out the entire profiile, even though there already is one. I know, seems ridiculous, but that's the way it is. You will not create another profile by doing this, TER will match the pertinent information to the exisiting profile. However, the first reviewer sets the profile. However, problem reports can be used to change incorrect information. Now go back and write that review.
Others have confirmed what you have already seen, that when you hit "Submit a Review" a new, blank profile form opens up. That form is not pre-populated. Here is how I deal with that.
I use Internet Explorer 8. If you use a different browser, you will probably have to adjust my instructions.
1-Pull up the profile for the provider you want to review.
2-Holding down the Ctrl key, click "Submit a Review." A new, blank profile form will open in a new tab.
3-Copy and paste the information from the existing profile to the new one, switching between tabs as necessary.
Clumsy, I know, but it works.
The next enhancement I hope they introduce would be the ability to save a review as a draft and return to complete it later.
Though, like many people, I'm hoping that TER will take their members' wishes into account and enhance the review system with a "fill in the blanks with existing data" feature (the reviewer can always change what needs to be changed, and the "services you were offered" fields can be left unfilled in order to force the reviewer to fill them in). Having to fill in everything yourself each and every time you write a review is a pain, and IMHO completely unnecessary.
Just copy her data from her profile onto the blank one and then fill in the remainder with your answers and details. It will be posted on her profile so long as you use exactly the same name and other info for that provider.

That's two questions. I'll answer the first one, based on my experience.
Your review should not be rejected simply because the information in some fields varies from what someone else has entered already.
And I'll take a WAG at the second, based on cursory observation.
The "old" information stays. Do a problem report to update it.
Hope this helps.
That is the problem for me. I look for BBBJ's and just skip a profile that indicates a covered BJ. Much to my surprise, Some time ago I went ahead and read a review anyway and guess what, BBBJ. Now I don't know if this was special for that client or she had decided to start. Whatever, it seems to be up to us to make sure problem reports are sent to keep the profile current.

And some providers change or ADD info every now and then anyway. A new phone number; an assistant or booker with a new or additional phone number; a new website; a continuous presence but constantly changing ad mall ad (CV, Eros, etc.). Blondes becomes brunettes. Someone gets a tattoo. But it's still the same person.
I hope that most TER reviewers have read existing reviews before making their appointments or otherwise know if it is someone new without an existing profile. The existing TER ID should then be the key identifier for a reviewer to know who he is reviewing. Once the profile info is loaded, he can change it or even just mention it in the review text. ("Just like her pictures except she had the tattoo removed with a laser.")
The only way to change a profile is to submit a problem report. As long as you have the correct TER handle for the provider, your review should be OK.

1) how much time does it take for a review to be accepted and how do we know our review is accepted or rejected.
2) are we required to provide and Existing TER id along with name in review, if we are providing review for existing provider.
