Stuff happens. Girls sometimes go MIA, in calls can be hard to find and we all get sick once in a while. Patience and a plan B are both good things to have in the hobby.

Usually the quality agencies are reliable, and of course, in both agency cases, it was you, not them, who cancelled and/or screwed up.

Are you accident prone? If there's a deeper issue here involved with guilt or ambivalence then you can talk to the Love Goddess over at the Erotic Highway. Assuming it is not that, go to one of the agencies that you're screened at that you haven't burned and set up an appointment when you feel healthy and fit. Leave plenty of time to get there and get your ashes hauled. Good luck!

It would be interesting to know the order of that all.  Perhaps your two near no notice cancellations are why you are having issues with the indys?

Absolutely. There seems to be a steep learning curve. I have yet to reach the promised land.  But have always been encouraged to keep trying and learning on this site. I have now made email and phone contact with a really nice lady and hopefully will meet soon. Best advice is to relax and always have backup plan. For me its golf.

The LE could have spooked them or they could have had a bad client.  I had an ATF who called me to confirm and I could hear it in her voice that she was upset.  She had that asshole client who verbally abused her.  I told her we reschedule ad she said she had other appointments but I told her hobbyist knows "shit happens" and get a drink.  All that to say, shit happens

Yes, get GPS...  remember to delete the "previous destinations" when you arrive.  More & more ladies are learning to give out a nearby GPS address for the second call.

I'm just back from a hot date & it had the potential to blow up in my face when I took the wrong exit (brain fart).  I had enough time & the GPS got me there with 5 minutes to spare.  

I had to call & cancel one date...  at the arrival time...  when an unexpected change in the driving conditions turned the interstate into a parking lot.  This was a repeat visit & the lady kindly offered to reschedule me the next day and you can be d*mn sure I left extra time.  

In general, don't be hanging around a lobby or door or even sit in your car for more than a few minutes.  If I'm unfamiliar with the location, I like to find it first then go find a coffee shop within striking distance.

Nerves maybe getting to you.  I am always nervious on a first date, though the more I do this the more at ease I am with the process.

If you are delayed, break down, are involved in an accident, get lost:  communicate.  Several times I've had the lady talk me right to her door.  (A hands free for your hobby phone is a great accessory.)  
If you can't contact her immediately, do so absolutely ASAP.  Appologize for not calling sooner, tell her the truthful reason you missed the appointment, ask for a do over & promise you'll be there...  I do it.
A Fav lady & I still laugh about my getting caught on the interstate...  I was stopped with thousands of other people when the drizzle turned into a foggy downpour... though this horn-dog was none too happy at that moment!
