CL has it's issues, both positive and negative, but there's no need to make the risks seem worse than they really are.
There are a lot of posts on backpages and I had called to inquire about a few girls and none of them seem to ask for references.. just go over rates and gimme an hour and we are good to go. So anyone ever been robbed before?? by the girl or a pimp the girl is with?

Let's put it this way...If a provider bothers to screen you exstensively chances are you are safe with her. If she has no procedure in place do not be surprised if one of the above DOES happen, not saying it WILL but it COULD!

That someone who does not take care of themselves in one way - screening - would be more likely not to take care of themselves in another way - safe sex. But it is an assumption, so it could be wrong.
I know that when I visit a provider who is disorganized in setting things up, works out of a messy incall, and generally seems to do things in a slap dash way, it makes me a little more worried about all aspects of safety with her. Whereas when I visit someone who is completely, dare I say, compulsively, organized and fastidious in everything we do, I tend to relax about things because I figure she is on top of it. (May not be quite as much fun, since a little wildness and tension spices things up, but it does feel safer and more relaxed).

well-reviewed providers; this means ladies with at least 4 or 5 reviews from established hobbyists who have a solid review history. Otherwise you are playing Russian roulette with possible un-savory characters (B & S, C & D, quidos, etc.) and the risk of LE. Do your homework and you will be rewarded with wonderful experiences.
Robberies have definitely happened in this business, both by providers and by hobbyists. Hobbyists should only see well-reviewed providers as keystonekid said, and ladies should always screen and screen well. Also, for the ladies, I recommend well-lit parking lots and at least decent hotel rooms. If you're doing hotels with the rooms on the outside (where you don't walk through the lobby to get to your car) and if you leave at night- it can be a good idea to have your last client of the day walk you out to your car (if you trust him).
