In my opinion that is highly unusual. There are some "providers" who ask for license information prior to a date. These are involved in a scam. I know that's not exactly the case you describe, but yours is also unusual.
If I were you, I would move on.
Also, in most cases, high quality escorts engage in very limited on-line chatting prior to a date. They are busy and they have personal lives. Generally you send ID info and request a date. They screen you and confirm the date. Then you show up at the appointed time.
Another person asked a question about using aliases. I have chatted via email with a couple of providers and they both have said they would have to meet me before our "date" and look at my ID. What will that tell them? I know they are worried that I am LE but simply looking at my drivers license won't prove that I am not? I am not opposed to giving whatever info they require but simply looking at my DL or passport doesn't prove that I am not a threat to them? Just trying to understand the process?
Is she asking you for standard screening information before you meet? That's how it is normally done. She screens you beforehand and checks your ID immediately before the date to make sure the name matches up with what you gave her initially.
ID is to make sure that you are the person that she screened. I know that Joseph Baggs isn't a rapist/cop, but that doesn't do any good if you are actually Richard Magoo.

meet you outside of the incall location to see your ID. Like a cup of coffee in the lobby bar or something. That way, she can just get up and leave without you knowing which room she's in, or whatever location she's at.
This is not frequently done, but it is not unusual. It's safer for her to meet you in a semi-public place first and then bring you to the room than to be inside a room behind a closed door with someone who may refuse to show the license, bust her, or do worse.
You should clarify with her to see if that is what she means. Also, LE may very well have DL's, but it would be very rare for a cop to show a provider his real driver's license with his real home address on it. A cop could have a fake ID, but that is one of the chances she takes in screening.
Good luck and keep in mind that the harder they screen, usually the safer it is for you.
