Let's look at reality. I don't care how you look, how overweight and sloppily fat you may be, how many pimples cover your face, or how socially inept you come across to others, ANYBODY (let me repeat that: ANYBODY) can get laid in college. Come on, it's not rocket science. Go to the weekly frat parties on Friday and Saturday evening. Go to the dormitory parties held nightly. Go to the local college bar that looks the other way and allows underage drinking (not that hard to find). Trust me; you attend enough of these events, YOU WILL GET LAID. You will NOT be masturbating forever. Both college men and women are ALL looking to get laid and explore their developing sexuality. For heaven's sake, you should even be able to even get the occasional hand job/ or blow job in the restroom. EVERYBODY is horny and looking for sex. Seriously, getting laid in college should be as easy as passing your classes.
Also, from an economic standpoint, seeing a provider is a complete waste of mommy and daddy's money (as you pointed out above you or "your mythical friend" are in college without a job and therfore no income). Let me warn you that hobbying is addictive. You will be hooked and before you know it, in addition to spending the discretionary income mommy and daddy give you, you will next be spending your textbook money as well as your food money. Boy, will the shit hit the proverbial fan when your parents find out! I'd love to be a fly on the wall during that conversation.
The bottom line is that you are in college and enjoying the best four years of your life (at least the last four years you will enjoy with no responsibility) Look I know your hand is getting tired from jerking off and you want to get laid (again, in case you missed my point, getting laid in college is really not that difficult) but the LAST thing you need to do is see a provider. Now when you are older, you may have other reasons to see a provider in addition to sex (a sounding board for advice, a date for a company function or business dinner, etc). When you are 18-21, the SOLE purpose of seeing a provider is to get laid. Period. Dude, let's take a step back and reevaluate your situtaion. YOU DO NOT NEED A PROVIDER TO GET LAID. College will afford you many many opportunities for sex.

Instead, you are going to the college dorm party, find some flirtatious, horny college girl (who cares what she looks like) who also wants to get laid, take her back to your dorm room AND HAVE SEX!! My advice to him in re to passing an agencies screening is to just contact the agency he is considering and asking. Most agencies have laxer screening requirement than do indies, and he might be surprised in the fact that they might just book an appointment with very litte screening.

I simply steered him away from hobbying and gave him other alternatives. You don't agree with my approach and message..To bad, deal with it.
If you read through the humor, frankly, you will see that I gave him VERY GOOD ADVICE. Hobbying is really not meant for college kids with no money. It is way to addictive for someone who is just using his parents money. I am trying to save the poor sole from bankrupting his family. I simply advised him that it is quite easy to get laid in college. Heck, maybe you even got laid in college. Plain and simple.

Just how do you know that he is sponging of mommy and daddy? how do you know that he can get laid on his own? and even if so, just how can you possibly know better than him that he should not engage in P4P?

Okay, Scarecrow back to reality. I think my post was spot on. Hobbying is completely unnecessary in college. The ONLY reason a college kid even remotely considers hobbying is to get laid. Period. He has NO other objective. I simply pointed out that he could accomplish this goal by banging anyone of the thousands of available coeds. Two, 99.99% of college kids (Esso78 and his "millions" notwithstanding) rely on their parents money to get them through (in addition to student loans for tuition). Again, I gave him sage advice. His reason for hobbying is exactly the same as most of us "to get laid". I felt that way 36 years ago when I first tried P4P and I feel the same exact way today. I had no problems getting laid as a teenager and I can still get laid the old fashioned way to this day. I choose to hobby, and the OP is entitled to make his own choice as well, your objections not withstanding.

Your response is akin to answering a question about safe sex from a teenager by responding that they should be praticing abstinence. Your advice is every bit as useful. He wasn't asking for life advice, or financial advice. He asked a very simple question about screening.
Just for the record, I'm not actually in college. I am, however, unemployed.
I live in a city with a whole ton of universities, so that was the second type of person I thought of that wouldn't have a job. It was just an example.
I was the nice guy that every gal I met wanted to confide their woes to. Therefore they wouldn't give me any sex as that would wreck the relationship and then we couldn't be friends.

Lots of students have some job before they have a career. It's been a long time since I was in college, the girls are hotter, not sure if they're any easier (unless they're drunk or high... not a good situation. Can cause legal problems!)
The hobby might be a fill in before or until a student finds a civie... if he is open & pays attention, it will certainly teach him some skills & boost his confidence. It is adicting & one must never hobby with money needed for rent or food.
