Obviously im new to this, but on cityvibe i found a provider that i liked and replied by clicking the little reply button.  A short while later i got an email saying they had responded but in order to view the whole message and their contact info i had to get verified.  This would be fine except they want my cc info and they dont provide a good description of why.  Is this a scam?

This is a scam. Half, maybe more, of the ads on Cityvibe are fake or posted long ago by now-retired providers. Anything that links to a pay site a scam pure and simple.

Delete, Block, Don't go there. If you want to be verified, use one of the reputable sites like Date-Check or Preferred411.

What about a site called safestcompanions.com?
