Good advice, since they do some verification before they let you be a member of their site, that helps too. The okays are the key to getting back in.

Hello Everyone.  I've been out of the hobby for several years and I am looking to get back into it in Washington DC.  Problem is, I recently booked an appointment with a well reviewed TER provider, however she cancelled on me while I was pulling up to the place.  Told me that she didn't feel confortable seeing a new client without references(should have asked me a week earlier, not when I was parking my car 3 minutes before our appointed time, but that's neither here nor there).  While I respect her right to see whomever she pleases under her terms, I'd like to get verified properly to avoid this problem.

When I was active in Southern California, I used the Troothsayers website to build credibility and book appointments.  Here in the DC area, I am literally starting over without references(all the providers who knew me have retired/disappeared).

So the eternal question:  How do you get references if you need references to get references?  Is using Date-Check and/or P411 enough?

Any input appreciated.

JC

Sorry to hear about your experience I agree should have mentioned references before appointment day.
I would suggest signing up with P411 or Date-Check and get verified that way.
On P411 you can search for newbie friendly ladies in your area or where you are traveling to.
After you see some of these ladies ask if they wouldn't mind giving you an okay on P411 or Date-Check that will serve as your references.Keep in mind signing up for P411/Date-Check is great but some ladies will not see you as just being a member of that site without some okays from ladies you have seen. So,looking for newbie friendly ladies on the verification sites is your best bet,
Good luck to you!

Try P411....just did a search on there for the DC area since I may be traveling there for several weeks and there are alot of providers on there for DC and the same for northern VA. Also, there were more than a dozen that were "newbie friendly".

Luck!
