There are girls who will see you with no references if you're willing to verify through your employment info so that is always an option. But it will take some searching before you find someone.
As for a verification service, I would find out which one is the most popular in your area. I'm currently in Chicago and RS2K is the big one here but when I'm in Tucson....not too many people use it.
