provider says "it's ok if you lack references"

I'm an infrequent client and have only been once in the last 7 years, a few times before that, in Europe. Looking to have a little fun on an upcoming business trip in NY... but can't exactly track down all my old amours.

I found a provider who looks absolutely fantastic and has 16 reviews on here, all current since March 2013 and all A++ "will repeat". I sent her an email explaining the sitch and got "it's okay if you lack references at the moment; I understand", along with an explicit rate.

I'm wondering, maybe she is young or new or a risk-taker. Obviously, I'm a good writer and my general good nature came across. Or, should I be worried? She looks so fkg fine otherwise but trying to think with the right head here.

If you sent her anything at all, she may have googled you. She might have found somebody who knows you. Or, she might be just going on her gut; providers aren't going to advertise that, but sometimes experienced ones do just that.

And as others have said, if she has that many positive reviews, she's probably ok. I'd be much more suspicious of a provider with little or no track record, or bad reviews, who did not screen.

Everyone has started somewhere right?  At one point none of the reviewers had references and they tried to see a lady in good faith... They started building their references so they can rely on them to continue seeing the provider of their choice.
However, some of us take references as a way to build a case but not as the determining factor unless,  we are personal friends with the lady providing the references and completely comfortable with her screening practices.

Seems like half the guys are complaining they can't get verified and the other half are worried when a well reviewed provider say "lets go" without checking him out??!?!?!?!?!?

Maybe you guys should compare notes!

Good luck to one and all

She has a number of positive reviews.   You truthfully explained the situation & she is checking that with what ever info she does have.   Nothing sticks out to me.  But I would still expect all normal provider methods to be used, like 2 calls.

On one side you have, "How do I get verified?" "Why do they want so much info?" "What if I don't want to give up personal info?"
Then you get, "She didn't screen me! Is that safe?"
