Which is why I make sure my hair is tied back. So it does not fall in front of my face. blocking your view..or getting in my mouth.
I love fresh and trimmed Gentlemen.
But I do understand if a Gentleman CAN'T trim.

No need to go all out but how do you except me to suck your balls when a ocean of fur is covering them.

Shaved or trim definately works much better for someone spending time down there. Oh and lets not forget the EXTRA washing required down there, especially if you have been at work. I love spending time down there, so I would love to feel welcomed and invited to spend time there

shaved is not necessary but trimmed is nice. I love to pay secial attention to the boys without getting a lot of hair in my mouth.

From what I have read, the majority of providers highly prefer shaved balls if you want them to get any serious attention.  They do understand that some of guys can't shave due to the suspicious spouse problem.

Myself, I'm single with no SO to worry about.  I trim the bush with the Phillips Body Groomer, and shave around the shaft and the balls.  I use Edge shaving gel and a Gillette Fusion razor.  So far, no accidents, even the first time when I was nervous as hell, putting a blade that close to Mr Happy and his two buddies.

I cut everything short with electric trimmers and use nair on the rest.

But "Nair" once set my scrotum ABLAZE!

 The shit is GREAT however for getting rid of ear and nose hair. (Be prepaired however to relentlessly sneeze like a motherfucker and have your histamines go apeshit the first time you try this)

plus, you don't have to worry about nicking yourself prior to a session...

I am glad to hear from some providers that trimming is good for them. I have read other threads on this topic and so I started trimming but was not comfortable with the idea of shaving because of the possibility of nicks and also the hassle of maintaining the shaved look.  With this input from the ladies, I will keep up with the trimming but no clean shaven for me for now.
