Hi

I am new to the hobby and would like to get into it. I am currently out of work, and have no references. How can I get verified?

Thanks for the help!

but where there's a will, there's a way.

My suggestion is to write a very sincere and gramatical email to several, or perhaps many, providers explaining your particulars and hope that your writing skills are able to move their hearts and minds.

Be particularly generous with whatever personal information you can give out such as address, phone number and anything else you don't mind sharing.

Also, you should join a screening service such as date check or room service.

Another gambit is to inquire of agencies as they are generally more liberal about screening.

Finally, and if you don't mind my asking, if you are unemployed, how is it you can afford this rather pricey hobby?

(I subsist on turnips and I have a job.)

stay in contact with the provider (of your choice) for a few weeks (IM if possible).  I kept exchanging emails with someone for awhile before I made my decision (to see a newbie without a job).  Be patient... explain your situation and see if she might have her own suggestions for screening you.  Good luck :)

If you have a blog, facebook account, any previous publications, or other online mentions, that may help too.

I've seen exactly one client who was unemployed, but he was a quadriplegic... He had a very obvious reason for being unemployed, and I didn't have to worry about physical assault. So, try to create the same situation -- mentioning a good (possibly verifiable?) reason for unemployment, and meeting the provider in a public place, possibly moving to a hotel room once she feels comfortable.

And, like mrfisher said -- in your introductory email, PLEASE use correct spelling, grammar, and throw in a little complex sentence structure to boot;)

Self employed & retired have the same issue.  The answer it to be truthful with the lady & cooperate to give her enough information to feel secure.

Who cares where he is getting the money from.  The question needs to be answered.

The best way to do is to call independent providers and see them more than enough times to start a good re pore and a decent relationship.  Have them white list you on this site if you can.  Simple questions doesn't hurt the provider at all.

I don't like to give out personal information on my work or home.  I feel that is a breech of personal information, that can lead to Identity theft or blackmail.  Besides I am in the Military, what work number do I give them lol?  Let me give them my Commanders phone number.  I am sure he will have a blast with that one.

Back to the subject, Once you have made friends with at least 2-3 providers, you can now move up to the bigger more expensive providers.

Agreed with everything you said.  The last thing you want to do is balk at any request for information they make, except stuff you really, really cannot share, at which point you have to accept that they won't screen you.

You give them a token of good faith by trusting them enough to give them every piece of information they ask for, without negotiating.  That's how you convince them to trust you.

Just so you are aware: If you are active duty then most established providers have access to the DoD data base, so all they need is a little information about you and you can easily be verified.

If you aren't willing to share your name you might have a problem arranging time with an established provider until you have had appointments with a few others.  Sometimes I have known hobbyists to go to agencies where they have altered types of screening methods.

My suggestion is to research a provider and gain confidence with one who has demonstrated with time that she is professional-  I wouldn't advise ANY man to meet in private with a provider that he doesn't have enough confidence to share his name with. Step back and look at the implication of your statement......  you don't trust a woman enough to tell her your name but you are willing to jeopardize your health and the health of your entire family based on expectations of this woman's caution and regard for safety practices?????

Now that doesn't sound very logical.

If you are of the mindset that you don't want to share any personal or professional information then I'd suggest not looking for a provider but consider another field of adult entertainment that caters to that type business practices- there are plenty out there. ...or, if you are active duty still deploying you should know most foreign countries have "hostess bars" where a flat fee will buy the lady of your desire- again, no information exchanged.

Best wishes in finding what you seek  ~T

Even though we have never met, you know that I love and respect you, and appreciate your participation on this board.  However the same rules apply to all gals - no TER signage on your site, no linking your site on TER!!!

My point was quite simple--Most GFE ladies will be hesitant to see a guy they have trouble screening.  Red flags abound.  "Gee, if he doesn't have a job, is he going to try to negotiate rates?"  A big no no.

Thank you for serving in our country's military.

....I'll remember not to add my link until TER has the appropriate representation on my site-

I actually hadn't notice TER was left off-  My name has a link to my TER profile so anyone who is looking to contact me has the avenue (*and that is why I keep my presence alive on TER*)  Thank you again for bringing it to my attention, I had not noticed the designer had left it off-

I really appreciate the time you have given to the site and I'm sorry I caused you extra work-  kisses ~T
